Munno is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. I have been here countless times since they opened and I've never had a bad meal. Their pastas are phenomenal, their pizzas are delicious, and they always have a quality wine selection that rotates.
I love the rotating seasonal options while keeping a solid number of consistent dishes. You really can't go wrong.

Based on the reviews, Munno is a restaurant with a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, denoting good value and quality. The food is spectacular, with an attention to detail and a focus on freshness. They source their flour and many ingredients from Italy and make nearly everything in house. The pizza is a highlight, with a great crust that is airy and chewy. The Pizza Diavola is especially tasty, reminding one of a sweet hot honey pizza. Other recommended pizzas include the Circo Massimo, Prosciutto, Rughetta e Burrata, Bufalina, and an artichoke and guanciale pizza. The pasta is also good, with a delicious gluten-free Trenette al Limone. The lasagna is an amazing deal, layered and baked perfectly. Don’t miss the suppli, salads, or the tiramisu. The minestrone soup is flavorful, and the beet salad with oranges pairs nicely with fennel and beets. It is an elegant place to sit down and chat. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, it is an approachable and friendly location with excellent food for reasonable prices.
