“Absolutely. Worth. All. The. Hype!!!! OMG I’ve been trying to get my hands on this pizza and I finally did and let me tell you… incredible flavors the pepperoni with the jalapeños and the sauce was perfect! It is by no means thin crust New York style Lucalis pizza but this is Chicago pan pizza all day!!!!“
“We stumbled upon an incredible pizza company at Off Color Brewing. Four large squares of pizza, mix and match, boasting a variety of flavors that left us super impressed. As newcomers to the area from the Pacific Northwest, we've been eager to explore different styles of pizza, including deep dish and more. This particular pizza experience stood out as one of the best we've encountered so far! Not only is it reasonably priced, but the fun and inventive flavors, like cacio e pepper, added an exciting twist we hadn't tried before. The leftover slices even made for a perfect Sunday breakfast. We can't recommend it enough!“
“Chicago Pizza is very unique and quite scrumptious. Great place! Casual. Small selection of beer and spirits. Service is friendly, attentive, and suggestive. I do recommend making a reservation and getting a small personalized pizza, as they are very feeling. Cute charming place.“
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!“
“This is the spot I NEEDED in the neighborhood. A casual pizza family-owned restaurant that brings me back to Italy. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious. It's BYOB as well. I got the Pistachina and it was 10/10; I want to try other pizzas but that one is TOO GOOD...“
“Eravamo in 4 a cena e siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia del cibo che del servizio . Il locale era pieno di gente ma la cameriera Maria ci ha serviti velocemente e in maniera simpatica e professionale. Le pizze che abbiamo mangiato sono state ottime. Ristorante consigliato.“
“Always a delicious experience! I live just a five minute walk away from here so it's hard not to be tempted every so often to come here for a slice or two of their gourmet NYC style thin crust.Everything I've tried here has been extremely delicious from the white pizza ? to the pepperoni and the grandma style slices.I even ordered a caesar salad ? here and the homemade croutons were amazing! If it isn't super crowded you can take a seat at one of the table and relax. I appreciate the fact that you don't have to commit to a full pizza here to indulge because slices are available from Wednesday starting at 12pm till 4pm through Sunday. This is seriously the best NYC style gourmet pizza I've had in Chicago and there's a wonderful rewards program too.The staff is very friendly and this is a great place to grab a slice to take home with you or take a mini break inside when you crave a pizza ? pick me up.“
“I came here with a group of girlfriends and Brian was an amazing server. He gave us great suggestions for the appetizers and entrees. Uli the bartender made us some delicious cocktails. We are coming back. Thank you brain and uli for an amazing experience!“
“The pizza was flavorful. My kids liked it, and winning a kid’s approval is tough. The only negative was the server/cashier might be a little forgetful lol. I got extra toppings and got olives instead of mushrooms. I asked for ketchup and we finished the fries before the ketchup arrived. No biggie tho. No pics because I was too hungry.“
“We grabbed a spot at the bar for a drink, stayed for dinner and I’m so glad we did! Tammy was our wonderful bartender, the service was amazing, and the food was incredible! Caprese salad was HUGE, for our entrees we ordered the rigatoni danielo (delicious) and cavatelli bolognese (even more delicious), portions were big without sacrificing quality. We had the tiramisu and it did not disappoint, neither did the wine list or limoncello. Will definitely be coming back, totally recommend this place for a casual dinner or a fancy date night!“
“I have been coming here for over 30 years ! Love this place ! My mouth waters just looking at the pictures on their menu! It’s been a while and I didn’t realize they now take reservations! My husband and I are long over due for a date night and I think I know what I’m asking for on our ten year anniversary! Lol yum! Can’t wait to visit again!“
“You know the kind of spot you pray you stumble into on that beautiful sunny day when you're feeling spontaneous, out on a walk and hungry, only to be completely blown away by the food and service and need to tell all your friends about it? That's Sfera.I've been a chef for many years and the food quality and consistency here is unmatched. They are not only talented Chefs & Cooks, but they clearly understand how to operate a business because it is consistently executed. My fiance (vegetarian) and I now frequent this spot. It is our feel-good neighborhood drop-in. Coffee is great, people are friendly, food is awesome.I hope to see an elevated full service concept in their future. They clearly have the chops.“
“Had a fantastic lunch here, one of the best thin-crust pizzas I've ever had, fresh ingredients, perfect baked, amazing flavors. The selection of pizzas on the menu is truly breathtaking. Robert himself even came over and introduced himself to us personally!A must-go place in Chicago.“
“Jimmy's used to be kind of a hole in the wall but has now upgraded to their location on Montrose. It serves DELISH true NY style pizza. As a New England native in Chicago, Jimmy's is the only reliable NY slice around. You won't be disappointed. That being said, its better to get a whole pie than a reheated slice for that perfect experience. Garlic knots are so tasty and their fresh marinara is the perfect addition- tell your spouse to beware of your garlic breath! Salads are great also! Wait times for a pie on weekends/nights is a little tricky but worth it! Dining in is great- lots of high tops and booths for all preference. I met Jimmy once and if I remember correctly, he IS from NY... so its definitely original!“
“When I visited Zimis pizza and grill, i was just trying a new lunch spot and i ordered the grandmas pizza and i also tried the traditional qevapis. Very good pizza, and also the qebapis were to die for. the service was great. the enviroment was very classy, and upscale. i would definitely reccomend zimis to any one looking for good food.“
“Paradise is a favorite amongst my friend group but yesterday’s service absolutely blew me out of the water! The service and food is always great but yesterday we were celebrating a special milestone and our server Nico made sure to make us feel like the paradise team was celebrating with us. Again i love paradise and it’s always good times & good vibes but yesterday was TOP TIER! Thank you Nico Barry’s wicker park loves you!!!“
“Highly recommend this quaint little place tucked away from the main thoroughfares. Attention to detail was amazing, great service and last but not least awesome food! Great selection! We had garlic bread (plain and cheesy), Spaghetti Bolognese, Pollo par parmigiana, and ItalianSub.“
“On my trip to Chicago I wanted to try Chicago deep dish. I had plans for somewhere else, then I realized I needed to find both vegan and meat. This is the only place I could find. It was amazing. I don't know if I'll try another place, why should I when this was so good.Vegetarian options: A vegan menu!“
“Had dinner at PISTORES last night and it was wonderful experience. Lovely decor, nice people and FABULOUS food. Started with their chicken wings which were excellent. Then had a variety of pizzas. The sausage and pepper pizza was ABSOLUTELY the best pizza I have ever had. We will be dining at PISTORES on a regular basis. Congratulations to Joel and Andrea-“
“I gave Ranalli's West Loop a 5 out of 5 star recently, but per the owner's request via Google, I am going to explain what made our experience(s) great. I didn't originally say why because I am quite the wordsmith, but here I go. *Cracks Knuckles*Ranalli's West Loop is an establishment within the West Loop of Chicago that has gone from the normal neighborhood bar to a cornerstone within the community. With the assistance of the great management such as Raf and Joel over the years, they have managed to keep staff that have been vital to the experience. With a great wait staff, friendly smile, phenomenal atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing prices, Ranalli's West Loop can't be overlooked.Ranalli's West Loop literally entertains every gender, race, and age. This is an inclusive environment that has managed to not only entertain our friends, family, and colleagues in the legal profession, but it has managed to create lasting memories. From our son coming here since he has been a few months old to aging matriarchal figures getting amped up for a Madonna concert, this venue has built memories and happiness. This is the place you go when you're open to seeing friendly familiar faces from the neighborhood like the ones from the daycare your kid goes to and even your actual neighbors. It's not just about food here. It's about the overall sensation you feel as soon as you walk in.One of the interesting aspects about this bar isn't just that it is an amazing bar, but there is a significant perk if you are going to an event at the United Center. The fact that you can get on a West Loop Ranalli's trolley and go straight to your event is a major benefit.I also highly suggest that if you see a special being offered, try it. I don't normally believe that specials are the best route to go at most venues because they seem so gimmicky, but the specials at Ranalli's West Loop are phenomenal and have the customer in mind.Let's talk about the actual favorites of this fine establishment that you can't ignore: 1. Toasted Raviolli - (Mix the Marinara with the White sauce they give you. You won't regret it.) 2. Bruschetta 3. Chicken Parmesan Sandwich 4. Garlic KnotsThe one thing I didn't include in this list is the pizza. The reason I didn't include the pizza in the list is because it is the best pizza in town and the pizza being a top priority should go without saying. It's a no brainer. Order the pizza. For kids, Dino Nuggets and fruit are perfect or go for a slice of pizza. The hot honey can be a bit spicy for a little one so we suggest to take off the spice if your little one is too young for a lot of spice.Events - Great for a business lunch, great for a parents night with the kids, great for a date night, perfect for a bite before a game or an event.Even if you are looking for something quick in the area to grab a bite, come here and order or even order it on UberEats. You will save quite a bit by picking it up in person, but this place has been a life saver for my family and I on multiple occasions.I hope this has been insightful. Keep cultivating great staff. Great job, 4C.Parking: Paid parking in a garage across the street or on the street paid parking is an option.“
“Everyone back East said I had to try this pizza. I am not really a pizza fanatic, but holy smokes, this is really really good pizza. I had the personal pepperoni with extra cheese and fresh garlic. It was amazing. They delivered to my hotel (Palmer House), and the delivery was fast for a busy night and the delivery driver was really nice. I totally recommend the pizza and service.“
“From the moment we stepped into Munno Pizzeria and Bistro, we were greeted with a warmth that only foreshadowed the delightful evening ahead. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal setting for any occasion. Each dish we ordered was a testament to the chef’s mastery over Italian cuisine, blending traditional flavors with a modern twist that left us savoring every bite. The pizza, with its perfectly charred crust and innovative toppings, was a highlight, while the pasta dishes were reminiscent of a culinary journey through Italy. What truly sets Munno apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care for the dining experience made us feel truly special. Our dinner at Munno Pizzeria and Bistro wasn’t just a meal; it was a memorable dining experience that we’re already looking forward to repeating. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, missing out on this Michelin-starred gem would be a mistake. Bravo to the Munno team for exceeding our expectations!“
“Thin crust crispy tavern style pizza!! I’ve had many pizzas and different styles, but this is the best I’ve had in a while. We had the pepperoni with hot gardenia peppers and for apps jalapeño poppers and sausage toasted ravioli. The pizzas are def made with love and had that PERFECT crisp bite!! Can’t wait to come back for some more and this place is CASH ONLY ??Kid-friendliness: High chairs for babies.“
“Walked in on a Saturday night and we were able to snag a seat in the back. It's a small space so there are seats all around the walls! The staff were friendly and helpful! You choose how big of a slice you want and you pay by weight. We got a couple slices - prosciutto, anchovy, sausage, and margherita! Loved the bread on this pizza! I'd probably skip on the anchovy next time, it was a little too salty for my liking. We also got the risotto and spaghetti suppli - they were ok! I liked the spaghetti one more than the risotto. Overall if i'm in the West Loop and want pizza, i'll return!“
“Moti Modern Indian Kitchen is bringing flare to Lincoln Park! I think their Modern Fusion Pizza restaurant is a great idea for this location. It's fun, fast casual Indian fusion that won't break your bank account. Great for the neighborhood and DePaul students! We tried the Sweet Chili Momo's steamed dumplings tossed in sweet chili sauce with green peppers and onions. They were nice and flavorful and I loved the texture. We also tried the Tikka Masala Curry with diced and marinated chicken in a spiced creamy curry served with a side of yellow rice. Super creamy and delicious and the chicken just melted in your mouth. And finally we tried the Masala Elote Pizza, palak pizza, and pepperoni pizza. All were delicious but the masala elote was our favorite! So many delicious flavors and textures on this pizza my taste buds were very happy! We washed everything down with freshly made mango lassis! So delish! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!“
“Fun atmosphere with lots of energy. Great place to watch sporting events. Their pizzas are what to order. The simple pepperoni Tavern style was really good. Great service, friendly staff and they don't mind if you stay for an entire basketball game.“
“Great sports bar & restaurant with awesome pizza, great range of local beers & excellent service. Deep Pan Pizza took a little while to come out but well worth the wait. I ate at the bar and the service was great - high energy bar staff able to multitask on a very busy Friday evening. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Some good options for pizza without meat - delicious!“
“Great happy hour! A branch of the Happy Camper group. I really like how the outdoor seating was elevated and kept you away from traffic / car exhaust.$6ish salads for happy hour is a steal! And they are huge! My favorite food happy hour in the city!“
“Just an incredible pizza, every single time. It’s just delicious. The owners and staff are really nice. The pizza has a vinaigrette glaze stuff over it, and with the crust being crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, it’s got an old school Italian kind of taste that you just have to try. The first time I tried a slice, I ate it and thought, ‘that was different, delicious and different.’ Then I thought about how good it was for the next week. I went back for more and this is my go-to place now.“
“Super fun joint. A lot of good vibes and reasons to hang around. The food, overall, was tasty, but the pizza left some to be desired. You can tell they put great care and detail into every decision. The pizza just didn't do it for me. Could've been the bold claim of "best cheese pizza in Chicago." I appreciate the bravado, but unfortunately, it came with little fanfare.“
“We finally had an opportunity to enjoy eating here while vacationing. Surprisingly, there's only 2 locations only. We traveled an hour to eat here and we didn't regret it. The food quality is still very good and the service was good too. Hopefully there are plans to open more locations. The buffalo chicken calzone is tasty, the potatoes are superb, and pizza is very good. I highly recommend eating here.“
“Friendly staff, great food, great service, great place. The breaded steak sandwich with giardiniera and mozzarella cheese is the best sandwich I have ever had. My buddy got 2 slices of cheese pizza and he absolutely loved it. Can't recommend this place enough.“
“Came here by myself to grab a quick dinner.Classic thin crust Pizza was decent. The 10-in serves one to two and was perfect for me, about 1200 calories.Unfortunately the stuffed pizza is no longer available in single serving and the smallest is 9 in at 2400 calories which is way too much for a single meal. The 312 beer is really nice.“
“I was recommended to this place, and after seeing the reviews, I decided to try it out for myself. This was my first time here. I was working at Willis Tower today, and this place is just a few minutes' walk from the building. I like the atmosphere when you walk into the place. I like the décor and the colorful feel to the room. Being from Chicago I decided to try the italian beef. You have to order your french fries separate with your order. I would have to say it was a huge beef. I ordered the combo italian beef and a side of french fries. The french fries order was the size of a family order. I have to say. I really enjoyed the italian beef and I really like the fries also. They had some really good looking deep dish, chicago pizzas. The menu is packed with options. I will be returning to try more. I definitely recommend this place as long as there is not a portillo's nearby. Anyone who has read my reviews on food in chicago, portillo's is my go-to spot.“
“The Wolfhound Pub offers a delightful experience with its exceptional food and cocktails, especially noteworthy are their espresso martinis and lemon drops which are truly outstanding. Brendan, Emily, and the entire staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making patrons feel right at home. Whether you're stopping by for a meal or drinks, expect nothing less than a consistently fantastic time at The Wolfhound.“
“MAN LISTEN!!!! We drove from the far south side (state line to be exact) to taste a slice. We showed up and you showed out!!! You lived up to our expectations and gave us a story to tell as well. Thanks to the team at the Roscoe Village location. #EatingMyLastSliceNow You are now my recommendation for best pizza in Chicago to my guests at my job. #TeamHospitality“
“I love paulie gee's! So many good, unique vegan pies. I try to avoid Thursday nights since it's trivia night and it is ROWDY, but also if that's your thing definitely check it out everyone seems to have a great time! Bartenders are always wonderful, great jov all around.“
“This pizza pie is so very delicious. Imagine good dough rolled out thin topped by tangy sauce and thin coating of cheese with flavorful Italian sausage in hand formed balls. I haven’t been excited by a pizzeria near me for quite some time. Did I mention chewy crust. I also tried their deep fried cauliflower with garlic Ali oil. Golden crisp heads of cauliflower served with your choice of sauce. My next adventure I will try the Cesar salad and another flavor of pizza ... can’t wait. Love me some Logan Square pizza..“
“This family owned business is such a warm and inviting place. The food was amazing, every bite was a burst of flavor. The portions are large so plan on getting more than one meal out of it. The prices are very reasonable and the owners make you feel like old friends. Highly recommend and I will be back.“
“I can't describe what a pleasure was when we enter into this Pizza restaurant. The staff was so welcoming and friendly., the pizza was so delicious. We have never tried such delicious pizza in our life. Not to mention that we travel all over Europe and Us but this please was unbelievable good. I would recommend it to anyone out there .I guarantee you won't be disappointed!“
“This slice of Wicker Park/Bucktown is stacked with pizza places, so anywhere that serves pizza has to really stand out.I haven't been to New Haven to try New Haven style pizza yet, so i have no idea how the pizza here compares to actual NH pizza. But compared to pizza in and around Chicago, and even the immediate neighborhood, I'd say it's below average. It's not a bad pizza by any stretch, but there's something missing. Maybe a bit of char. The crust is a little bland. It eats a little soft, especially at the tip due to the lack of char. It's simple and doughy. Now, these "flaws" may not be flaws at all and are just characteristic of NH style pizza. In that case, it's just not my jam and you may think it's awesome if I'm describing the perfect NH slice. Different strokes and all that.As a local, I've tried every pizza within a ten minute walk of there and I'd would put Craft first, then Paulie Gee's, then Etta, then Dimo's, then Piece, then Paradise Park, then Lou Malnati, then Jet (see? A lot of pizza in the area). A little further north is My Pi, which is the best deep dish in the neighborhood and also a pizza I would rank above Piece.I'd still recommend going. I can tell they execute their vision for pizza well. It's a fun spot. There's a great beer selection. And more people enjoy it than don't.“
“Very good breakfast food that has a bit of an Italian twist. I have the croque madame and the Benedict pizza. We also got the all you can drink mimosas. There is a 2 hour limit to eat and drink. But you should not have any issues with the limit. Great interior with yummy drinks. I definitely recommend!!!!“
“I’ve been coming to Macello’s for a few years. My experience alone cannot describe how much I love dining in. The quality and price for the food is unbeatable, the servers/service is incomparable, the atmosphere and aura is incredible. I would love to give a special shout out to Jennifer for always treating me like family and providing excellent service. Her recommendations are always on point, and her energy makes dining in an unforgettable experience. One, if not THE best, authentic Italian restaurant in Chicago! Highly recommend to anyone! My go-to dishes are filetto di manzo, cavatelli al forno, and to top off the night, the espresso martini with a pannacotta con salsa di caramello.“
“Wow! We arrived a little early for our Saturday at 7:30 dinner reservations in hopes of getting seated early, if there was a chance. It was restaurant week in Chicago Osteria was very busy. Unable to get a table early, we happily sat at the bar and waited. After debating on what drinks to order, we opted for the "just bring me wine" . The bartender asked if we were having the restaurant week menu, as that had specific wines to go with the courses (which is what we went with). We were seated a little after 7:30, no complaints on my part over that, as they were very busy. When a place is participating in an event such as restaurant week and there is a set menu, one shouldn't expect any substitutions from said set menu. I completely understand this, although having to eat gluten free poses a bit of an issue for me. The options for the main course of the set menu wasn't going to be a problem for me. I inquired about the ingredients on the first course. I knew the bread and roasted garlic, as well as the meatballs were a no go for me and explained that I couldn't eat the prepared salad due to the croutons. Much to my glee, I was offered a caprese salad instead of the Caesar. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the bread with roasted garlic in oil and vinegar, as well as the meatballs and Caeser salad. The soup was a delicious chicken and vegetable soup. At 8:10 started to get nervous about the time, due to us having tickets to see Drunk Shakespeare at 9pm. This was poor timing on my part, I should have reserved our table for 7pm or earlier not 7:30pm. When our waiter came over to check on us I explained that we needed to put out by 8:30(ish). Mild concern came over his eyes and he went back to check in at the kitchen. Moments later, a gentleman came to our table (I'm assuming the manager) to discuss our predicament. He kindly explained that our main course wasn't going to be ready for another 20 minutes (the restaurant was very busy). The timing would have been just fine any other night for us, but not that night. After a discussion with the manager, we all came to an agreement of us having a second bowl of soup and paying ala carte for what we had eaten and forgoing the set menu. I take full responsibility for our poor timing and am delighted in how the restaurant was gracious and accommodating. Our waiter brought over two glasses of chocolate wine to finish off our meal. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. Next time we are in Chicago, I'll make sure to set enough time aside to enjoy the full eating experience.“

“I'd been wanting to try Bonci ever since I heard about it years ago, but never got a chance to visit their West Loop or Wicker Park spots. But this location is much closer to where I live, so I finally stopped in and tried small slices of the Fried Onion, the Margherita, and a Blueberry one.Really enjoyed all three (Margherita being my least favorite), and very much look forward to going back and trying more of their constantly changing offerings.“
“It was our first time, and I loved the classic atmosphere. I was intown for just a few hours and wanted pizza. I found Pat's from the 1 bite reviews. The thin crust did not disappoint. The draft beer list was nice, though they could have filled the glass a little. We also got a tiramisu it was delicious!“
“Best vpn pizza in the aria.. staff is on top of everything and service is great , fast quick and fresh then going there for years love it I just wish they would change up their money once in a while introduce new pizzas introduce new dishes but it’s 100% “
“We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Tue-Thurs) and noon to 10.30pm (Fri-Sun), closed on Mondays. Service was very friendly. Menu features a few salads as well as a list of pizzas. They also do a build your pizza custom order if preferred. We ordered the Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder. Would also be happy to try other pizzas on the Coalfire menu.“
“Excellent food and amazing customer service !Spacca Napoli never disappoints. The ? are amazing! Definitely recommend visiting. Reservations are recommended for an evening visit .They have daily specials and you can order online too for pick up.“
