Great tasting gluten free pizza for this Celiac Disease person! Best ever in 12 years! Owner Robert was very well informed. Pizza was very fresh, tasty and the crust was out of this world. Can’t wait until I get back to Chicago!

Robert's Pizza and Dough Company offers a casual yet elevated dining experience with friendly servers and attentive staff. The open atmosphere, with seating directly at the water, creates a lovely setting, especially on a hot summer night. Known for its delicious dough, the restaurant's pizza is highly recommended, with a variety of toppings to suit different tastes. The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating, and advanced reservations are suggested for outdoor dining. Portions are large, making the appetizers and pizzas good value. The staff, including the owner, is welcoming and passionate about their craft, often making personal visits to the tables. Guests appreciate the friendly service and the chance to enjoy great food with a view of the river. The atmosphere is perfect for a drink or snacks, though some find the pizza a bit oily with limited uniqueness. Visitors also enjoy seeing the dough being prepped, which shows the pride in the food's quality and freshness. Many guests have had a great experience, praising the lovely staff and delicious food, with some planning to return with family or friends. The restaurant’s beer and cocktail selection is good, and the friendly service makes it a popular spot for both casual meals and special occasions in Chicago.
