“My wife and I visited Gino’s for the first time. I was late but when I arrive the pizza was ready with a beer and our server Castle was so accommodating. “Visited their new Lakeview location this past Thursday, and timed it right so my Pizza was ready right after the Cubs game ended. It was only a 15 minute walk to the restaurant. First time ever eating Milly's and I will definitely be back! Customized my own pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage and Ricotta cheese. Opening the box for the first time, this pie looked perfect. Generous amount of toppings, beautiful caramelized crust. First bite was nice and crispy and the entire pizza was full of flavor. I sat in one of their booths and ate half the pizza there! The staff was super friendly also, both guys were talking to me about the history of the company, and you could tell how passionate they were about making these pizzas. I will definitely be back again!“

“Stopped by for dinner before heading out for the night and grabbed one of Dimo’s creative slices plus an order of fries. The pizza had a really good balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings didn’t feel skimpy. The vibe was casual and very Wrigleyville, which fit the night perfectly. “Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

“After a recent experience in an establishment not to be named, the whole experience at Happy Camper was a wonderful time.
From the heated entry, prompt and friendly greeting at the host stand, it only got better.
We were quickly seated nice and close to TVs to watch some NLCS playoff baseball (unfortunately sans Cubs). Our server was right there with waters and seeing if we had any questions. She was awesome! It's obvious they are well equipped and ready to provide a great experience. Drinks were brought out super fast. I am a big fan of the 32oz Vodka Lemonade.
We had the loaded skins, chips and salsa for appetizers. The salsa was delicious and chips were on point. The loaded potato skins were absolutely delicious! Almost like a mini loaded baked potato. So good!
Then, we had a pizza that I would not order if it weren't for my daughter loving ricotta. The Nadine Pizza with pepperoni, ricotta, basil, marinara and hot honey... and i must admit the hot honey was my biggest question mark, but it made the pizza incredible!
This will be on my radar next time I'm in town for sure!“

“We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely. Opening hours are 4pm to 10pm (Tue-Thurs) and noon to 10.30pm (Fri-Sun), closed on Mondays. Service was very friendly. Menu features a few salads as well as a list of pizzas. They also do a build your pizza custom order if preferred. We ordered the Jalapeno Pepperoni which was nicely baked thin crust with a good amount of char. Savoury tomato sauces, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeno were all good quality and tasty. This was a really good pizza, one we'd gladly return to reorder. Would also be happy to try other pizzas on the Coalfire menu.“

“I've driven by the place for a year and kept thinking I should drop in. Finally stopped for a slice last month, and went back to try their smash burger just recently.

Love the place. They have excellent food and a kicky little interior, but I loved chatting with the owner as he made my food. One of the owners, at least. Anyway, curious to try their other offerings, and happy to meet a local small business owner and find them to be just good people. To me, that has more impact than the menu. But the menu is worth the trip, all the same!
