DO NOT PARK AT THE STRIP MALL NEXT DOOR. Theres a guy that will boot your car and make you pay $170 to take it off. Other than that the pizza was tremendous.
I got the word about Zazas pizzeria from barstool sports. I checked it out for myself and it was FIRE!!! I’m usually a guy that needs toppings but I went with the cheese slice. Crust was nice a crispy but felt light. I promise I will return!

Zazas Pizzeria - Lakeview offers incredible pizza, bringing New York City straight to the Windy City. The shop serves pizza by the slice and whole pies. The pepperoni, vodka sauce grandma pizza is some of the best pizza ever, with nothing better anywhere. The Hot Homey Pepperoni pie is a must, with crispy cup and char pepperoni working wonderfully with creamy risotto and a kick of heat from sweet hot honey. The sauce is bright and tangy, and the dough is cooked perfectly—crispy with great structure. The crust is very crunchy and satisfying, with amazing flavor from rosemary garlic oil. The white slice, especially the truffle mushroom, features fresh, sharp mushrooms on a melty, cheesy base. The Grandma pie is amazing, with vibrant red sauce and super fresh, peppery basil on light, focaccia-like bread. It is one of the top NY style pizzas in Chicago, with crispy chewy crust perfection. The pizza is received fast, and parking is not as bad as expected. It is kinda expensive for a single pizza, and there is a wish for more seating inside.
