We've been Coalfire a couple times and this has to be one of our favorite shops in Chicago! The coalfire style of baking the pizza makes really nice crust.The sauce and cheese are really good and they have the crumbly sausage which is my favorite.Highly highly recommend this pizza shop!
I brought a visiting HS friend here for dinner & beers. The food was excellent, the service was great and we comfortably talked for an hour and a half (it was a Tuesday). We split the White Pizza, which we both enjoyed.

We recently had dinner at Coalfire on Grand Ave. in West Town and really enjoyed their coal oven baked pizza. We dined early on a weekend evening so no problem with grabbing a table on a walk in basis. Opening hours are Indoor environs were urban modern with tables spaced nicely.
