While it will never be quite the same as when Burt was still alive and making the pies, the pizza served at Burt's Place is not only a faithful recreation of Burt's culinary masterpiece, it captures the essence of what was. The pizza we ordered hit the spot. I'm happy knowing this gem has been preserved for future generations.
First time dining here at Burt's. We ordered two pan pizzas. One half dough and a regular pan pizza. Both were good and very filling. If you're looking for a good pizza, try this place. It's probably best to have a reservation. It's not a big restaurant and it gets busy. Street parking only.

A solid pizza that's worth adding to your rotation. We got a deep dish pepperoni for takeout, so I can't speak to the interior. But the sauce and pepperoni were fantastic. Basically the same thing as Pequod's. The big difference is the crust. While Pequod's crust is very airy and crunchy, Burt's crust has less rise.
