“Best Pizza I've ever had. Totally worth the hype. I've had every type of pizza, I've had actual Italian Pizza in Italy. Naples, Verona, Rome, Venice, Trento, all across Italy. I've had Detroit style, New York, Chicago Deep Dish, Chicago Tavern Cut, literally every major style of pizza and nothing comes close to what we had at Pequods. The caramelized crust is to die for. The only issue some people may have is because it's a classic old location the restaurant is kinda small and while I loved the cozy Chicago aesthetic, it might not be for everyone. For anyone traveling around Chicago this place is a must. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time and good luck with parking.“
“Great bar! Like a REAL bar, where you can grab a beer and a shot, talk Chicago sports and neighborhood with Regulars, helmed by a great bartender, Ken. Bonus Points... having an incredible name (Bringer Inn, love that) and being right next door to, arguably, Chicago's BEST Deep Dish pizza.“
“Food was excellent as always. Service was fine, not bad, not great... just a little slow, but it was a busy night. It took a little while to order. It took a little while to get our check. Our server was very sweet and professional, timing was just off, that's all. Our apps came out at the same time as our entrees, which was a little unexpected... but again, it's fine, glad we were at a table because we needed the space. Ultimately will go back for the great food at reasonable prices.“

“I have no idea why people are such complainers? The place is slammed for a reason so plan to order ahead. The food is amazing. QUALITY is all I have to say. If you want an excellent thin crust then this place is it. Establishment is clean and staff is friendly. I ordered a stuffed pizza and an XL thin nano’s special for family that was in from out of town. They couldn’t get enough.“
“Staff member greeted us upon entering the establishment. He promptly asked if we had an order in already and checked to see if it was completed. He was slightly taken aback by the fact that we checked the order based on his expression. Only point of order would have been to ask if everything looked ok. But, he thanked us for coming in.“
“While it will never be quite the same as when Burt was still alive and making the pies, the pizza served at Burt's Place is not only a faithful recreation of Burt's culinary masterpiece, it captures the essence of what was. The pizza we ordered hit the spot. I'm happy knowing this gem has been preserved for future generations.“
