this place has some of the best bread ever. the atmosphere is very fresh and welcoming - it’s the perfect spot to get together with friends and enjoy good food, beer and wine, and music in a casual but cute space. my personal favorites are the soppressata and hot honey pizza, bread with cultured butter, and the big salad. honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here! this is a spot i keep coming back to because it’s just so good.
I’ve been having dreams about this food since I had it. I had a sandwich (can’t find the name of it) and I ate it so fast.I’m not a sandwich person and I was blown away at how good this was. Both of my friends got the dough boats, and they give them a 10/10.The aesthetic of Bungalow is very cute. The inside is very homey. Super fun joint. A lot of good vibes and reasons to hang around. The food, overall, was tasty, but the pizza left some to be desired. You can tell they put great care and detail into every decision. The pizza just didn't do it for me. Could've been the bold claim of "best cheese pizza in Chicago." I appreciate the bravado, but unfortunately, it came with little fanfare.
