We came to Katherine Anne’s as part of a hot chocolate crawl. The rain fell in sheets, so the casual, homey seating area was particularly welcoming. We had a flight of 3 mini drinking chocolates—semisweet, caramel, and Mexican. When I tried the semisweet, I just stared off into space for a while as my brain tried to process the pleasure delivered from my mouth. Perfect texture. Full chocolate flavor. Not too sweet. Beautifully presented. So we ordered another flight.
Lordy Lordy Lordy. Katherine Anne!.... You did something right here. This place is amazing for the chocolate lovers, tea connoisseurs and marshmallows fanatics. I came in on a bright early Saturday morning and the server and barista was fabulous. I had a million questions and she answered them all with a huge smile on her face. Came here for the marshmallows but fell in love with the hot chocolate. They have hot chocolate flight!! And you can order it iced. I took home the seasonal flavors of lavender and the hazelnut stout. Wow! It was amazing. I can taste the herbal note of lavender. The hz stout was equally nutty and flavorful.
