“The food and drinks were good, the service was attentive and friendly but let the buyer beware! The waitstaff asked: "Celebrating a birthday?" Let us get you some shots! This happened twice however, all the shots ended up on our bill and it was $56 for four shots! Twice!”

“My first time here, and I loved it! Got there early with my own choice of seating. It’s pretty quiet on the inside, so it’s easy to talk with your table. The food is traditional Italian, and delicious. Our server Jeff was patient, friendly and informative. He carded us for drinks and saw it was my birthday. So after our courses, he brought a little dessert and sang me Happy Birthday! Would definitely recommend and go back again.”

Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.”

The food is always a hit, the vibe super cozy--especially when it's otherwise freaking cold 9 months out of the year in these parts--and the staff is seasoned and excellent. “Fantastic cake donuts and danishes! Schlegl's is a treasure. If you are in need of a morning (or afternoon) treat, go there! It's much better than a national chain or a supermarket! (I liked Dominick's cake donuts too, but Shlegl's's are bigger and better!) I only wish I lived closer....”

“Music was very loud in bar. Just a little lower would have made it more pleasant experience. Bar tender was excellent, but she had too many people to serve by herself, the people Sitting at the bar and all the bar tables. They should have 2 people behind bar to wait on tables and bar. It took awhile to be served. Overall really enjoyed time and great place to visit.”

“The workers here are incredibly kind. They treat my kids well every time we visit. Their orders are always prepared accurately, and everything is just perfect.

The only minor issue is that the employees frequently engage in conversations in their native language and the volume is quite loud. While it may not be directly related to work or orders, these personal conversations gets annoying , especially during busy times. It looks very unprofessional.”

“This restaurant is our go to neighborhood take out place and we order from them almost on a weekly basis. Their food is always delicious and the value from this place can not be beat anywhere in the surrounding area.”

“I just went in for a salad. A house salad is available. The Italian salad dressing was served with bread sticks, croutons, iceberg lettuce, and pepperchini pepper. It was excellent. I have no issues. Additionally, the serving size was perfect. I took the rest home because I had had enough.”

“I have come here quite a few times for breakfast and I can tryly say that the folks who run this DD are the best!!! They are super polite, very efficient, and always on time. There have been instances when I was running late and needed to get to work on time. I ordered from the app before I arrived and my food was always ready! They're rarely ever have lines to wait and great service. I highly recommend this place.”

“We were in our way to the airport and decided to get dinner. The service was fast, the person in the front (owner?) was so friendly and personable. The restaurant is really spacious and lovely. The biggest treat was finally eating our meal and it was the best Chinese food I’ve had. So delicious! The portions are very generous and they did not skimp on the shrimp. I highly recommend this place.”

“This is going to be my favorite chicken place from now on. About 4 years ago, I went to south Korea with my family. And ever since then I been looking for chicken place. I tried so many places but this one was amazing. Everyone there were so sweet, and helped me to pick my order with patient. The decoration was so good, I was very surprised. It was just such an amazing place. They have such a big menu, I will be coming back soon.”

“Ordered the avocado Philly cheese steak and the 10 piece lemon pepper wings. The food was great. That Philly was amazing. Even the wings were good. Perfect season blend with perfect crisp cook. Was suprised based on past reviews but the food was good and the people were polite and accommodating. Food came fairly quickly as well.”
