“We had a wonderful meal at Ni's Kitchen located in downtown Wilmette. Ni's has an airy, light feel with representational art of Vietnam on the walls. Convenient, free parking right out front. Service was very friendly and we spoke at length to Lisa, the charming proprietor. The beef steak and brisket Pho was tasty with the noodles and broth being seasoned well and the beef very tender. A portion of Thai Basil with Shrimp also hit the spot. Total bill was under $40 and we had leftovers!”

“I love Pequod's so when I heard we had a place on the North Shore that was similar I was definitely intrigued. But also definitely skeptical. It's a small joint with zero atmosphere so it didn't look promising. But man oh man, the crust does not lie. Another reviewer called out the sausage and I have to agree. That might have been the best sausage deep dish that I've ever had. I almost wish my stomach were bigger so that I could have had a third slice. I can't wait for summer so I can truly enjoy a pizza on the sidewalk, something you could never do at Pequod's.”

“Y’all need to visit Taverna Naxos in Wilmette and have an Aphrodite‘s Kiss made by Rosanna. It’s their Greek version of an Old Fashioned and is truly fantastic. Follow that up with the Baby Back Ribs (no bbq sauce in sight or needed) and you’ll be anxious to return. Say hi to Naxos’s manager, Suzanne, who will make sure you enjoy your visit.”
