The greeter seemed to not wanna be there, possibly from the attitude of the other staff, while she was trying to get us setup another dude jumped in and interrupted and took over. Figure out who does what.

My good friend and I have been devoted customers of Akai Hana for many years now. Considering we both reside in Chicago, and Chicago having its share of countless Japanese restaurants to select from, this says a great deal about the quality of food and service at Akai Hana. Believe me, the trek out to the suburbs to go there is always worth it.

Came on Friday at 1-ish. SeatedThe place is a little outdated but service was quick and very pleasant. I ordered the sushi deluxe lunch special. It was fresh and delicious. I love the reusable glass water bottle they have.
