The authenticity of coffee and wine was very interesting to find in ice cream. The only thing I missed was the basic, crispy cones (they might’ve been out I didn’t ask) - the ones they had were way too sweet.“

“We are a family of 5 who enjoyed everything we ordered! The service went above and beyond our expectations. While consuming our food we also had the opportunity to witness how everyone was greeted and treated wonderfully. There were games available for the children to play it was very fun for our entire family. Just to share a little more about the level of attention we received my four-year-old was completely terrified of the Easter Bunny I was talking to her about how it was someone in a costume similar to when she dresses up in costumes or princess dresses staff was willing to take off the Easter bunny mask to ensure my daughter felt safe and secure this changed the whole visit for her she was no longer scared still very cautious but not scared and was able to enjoy eating her tamale♥️ I would most definitely recommend this place to others! ♥️“

They said they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies. So I called the one off Touhy Ave in Niles and the fellow named Cesar was super friendly and helpful and said they’d honor it. So I drove there and they did! At the store, Cesar was super friendly and the other fellow working there too. So nice compared to the employees at the Crumbl near me in Skokie. I avoid that location at all costs! They (Skokie location) have no customer service skills and would benefit from some training in customer service. Could learn a thing or two from Cesar and his coworker.“

“Let’s face it. There are La Michoacana ice cream stores on every other block on North Clark. We stopped here for dessert and it’s easily our favorite! The helado (ice cream) is to die for! The coconut is outstanding as is Abuela’s Chocolate. There are regular flavors and some (Rum Raisin!) are so creative and delicious. And the paletas! The BEST Arroz, Fresa, Mango, Coconut...the list goes on. And the couple that run the place are just the sweetest people! Highly recommended.“

I've eaten tamales most of my life and I brought some for my grandma who came to Chicago from Mexico and she absolutely loved them she has been eating them for 70 plus years and for her to provide her stamp of approval means a lot. “I LOVE frozen yogurt, and it's hard to find good places to get it in Chicago, but Forever Yogurt really stands out as a great one!!! They have a HUGE selection of toppings, including the regular ones you'd imagine like hot fudge and caramel, sprinkles, etc, but they also have all the candies you could imagine, fruits, other sauces, and a cereal bar with all the cereal you could imagine to top your yogurt!! The menu behind the counter is really huge too, they have fruit bowls, a hot chocolate bar, smoothies, and more cool stuff! I really enjoyed the froyo and the atmosphere, it's decorated super cute, and the employee working was super super wonderful. Highly recommend! Very 2000s 😍“
