Stopped by while craving ice cream on a Monday evening. The owner and seemingly only worker was so kind and gave massive scoops! The ice cream is so rich, creamy, and flavorful. The store is spotless as well, and has a cozy vibe. So glad I visited and will be coming again!
Stopped in with my husband for a couple scoops and we left incredibly happy! This is our first (and definitely not our last) time visiting here, the employee behind the counter was really nice and offered SO many amazing samples, which were all top notch quality. This super cute family ran spot is one you cannot pass up.

Sugar Rae's is a great place to visit. The ice cream is so good, and the service is spectacular. The shop is spotless and the staff are super friendly. They give big generous scoops and are patient and kind to kids. The shop has a fun and welcoming vibe. Sugar Rae's has many great flavors, including Little Blue Panda, Lemon Bar, Espresso Chip, and Banana Pudding. The prices are very fair for the generous portions. The shop is a great addition to the neighborhood and is perfect for families, with a playground nearby. The staff are happy to let you sample flavors, and they even have a pup cup ready for dogs. Sugar Rae's is a great place to stop by, whether on a summer evening stroll or on a weekday, and it is definitely one of the best ice cream shops in Chicago.
