“There’s no doubt that this is the best ice cream shop in the greater Chicagoland area, however the staff is what makes the experience much more worth it each time we come. We came in a few nights ago and were helped by the lovely manager Zelle, who made my little brother’s birthday 10x better by not only treating him to a delicious sundae with a fun candy face and lots of sprinkles, but served it with a beautiful smile! Her and other staff were having lots of fun behind the counter and engaging in jokes and conversation with my family. They really made us feel like we were old friends to them, like regulars that they’ve known their whole lives, something you really don’t see anymore. You would think that’s how every service worker would be while working in ice cream? Nope, only at this Graeter’s. Thank you Zelle and thank you Graeter’s team!“
“I've ordered online from this location about 10 times in the last year and they get it right every time no issues whatsoever. Even during busy lunch hours when they had a packed drive thru they always get my online orders perfect when placed through their website. This location of Culver's is a perfect example of what they all should be like.“

“This Dairy Queen is a little unusual in that it's a strip mall setup as opposed to a traditional standalone shop. But I found it also has an unusually large amount of seating capacity, so good for them. We had a $30 Local Flavor certificate to use and dropped in to pick up an ice cream cake. Besides the usual ice cream offerings, they also have a large assortment of cakes, ice cream bars, and also serve Culver-like offerings like burgers and fish sandwiches, and chicken and shrimp baskets. I don't know if many other DQ's offer such a varied menu, as I have never really looked.Anyway, we let our older grand-darling pick the cake, and naturally she chose the biggest and most expensive one - a 10" ice cream cake for $33.99. She also enjoyed a cherry dipped sundae for $3.99 before we departed. There were no issues using the LF certificate and we haven't used a promo certificate in a while. I patted myself (and the wife) on the back as we again did a most excellent job of spoiling her. Prices seemed a little elevated for the quality, but that's also kind of typical I think of DQ's. Anyway, this is a quite nice and well laid out DQ.“
“Really good ice cream. Me and friends went here today since everything was closed and we thought this place would be mid.But, man this ice cream really is good. I would say it’s even on par with basking robins or prolly even way better than that. I would recommend the dark cherry and coconut scoops which was recommended to me by one of the employees. Also, I gotta say this is also the only place in Chicago that is very hospitable and service is amazing. The employees gave us many flavors to try before proceeding with our order.Vegetarian options: Vegan marshmallows“
“The cookies are DELICIOUS! The company tries to switch up the flavors weekly and always does a great job deciding on new flavors. The cookies are very large too, and we split one between 3 people. They are approximately $6 per cookie, so a little expensive but worth it. I highly recommend trying this place! (Pictured is the Tres Leches Cookie)“
“The Oreo milkshake I fell in love since I'm an Oreo fan lover! I appreciate the workers there were giving me recommendations of different milkshakes. Will be coming back once the warm weather arrives to try out their refresher and smoothies.“
“The best of the best in the area - Capanari's Ice Cream. They are very comparable to Oberweis Ice Cream. Capannari is open seasonally from March until Halloween usually. They have rotating seasonal/weekly flavors along with your classic Ice Cream flavors - I really like the Madagascar Vanilla Milkshakes. The workers are also very friendly, there's a patio and garden outside you can enjoy your ice cream in or a small couple of chairs inside. Definitely try them if you're in the area and want some great ice cream!“
“I was told this Dairy Queen was at this location for over 65 years and had that fantastic atmosphere for my day gone by. I enjoyed my ice cream treat and so did my wife and we were very happy coming to this location and we'll again. This location at a narrow parking lot in back because it was on a major corner but I no problem in parking or enjoying my Ice cream.“
