Great service. I had two different cocktails and they were both excellent.
I grew up in this neighborhood and it’s awesome to see a sophisticated cocktail bar pop up in downtown Wilmette. Drinks were very good, and atmosphere is top notch. I’ll be coming back for sure.

The Mette Cocktail Bar & Lounge is a sophisticated cocktail bar in downtown Wilmette and an incredible addition to the entire north shore. The atmosphere is top notch, chic, sophisticated, fun, and welcoming, with a great vibe that is very social. The drinks are very good, great, fabulous, and absolutely delicious, and the Feisty Brazillian is recommended. The cocktail menu is creative but for everyone, and the bottle menu is good, with a selection appreciated by tequila and mezcal fans. Servers and bartenders are very social, and customer service greeted guests as soon as they walked in. The space is very Victorian, and every single person there was an adult, making it a place for grown folks over 21 to have a quiet drink. There were some kitchen issues, but the nibblies are worth trying. The Mette is exactly the kind of spot the area has been missing, and guests will definitely be back.
