“Burger and wine by the Glass for $21! Burger and Old fashioned cocktail for $21. We went to Webster Wine bar because it made the top 15 Chicago burger list. We were not disappointed! On Wednesdays there is a special for the burger and any drink for $21. What a deal! Our burgers came out quick and were delicious. They used Slagel Farm’s beef, and SHARP cheddar cheese instead of American. I love cheddar over American cheese any day. First time to Logan square and it was charming with the wide boulevards. Wine bar looks over the park and is very sophisticated. The wine list was impressive. Classy little place! Great for date night.“

“I was looking online for good deals on wine tasting and came across this place. I'm so glad I went to check it out! The ambiance is super nice, big windows and plants and lots of wood decor. It has a very local, casual vibe, and many of the people there seem to be regulars. I went for the wine tasting, which they offer every Thursday from 5-7pm. The tasting costs only $5, but it is free with any purchase. We bought the red wine cheese set for around $13, so we got our wine for free. They also kindly cut and arranged the cheese for us, and it was perfect for two people. We got to try four wines: Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio, Schild Estate GMS, Viva Valentina Sangiovese, and Chateau Kefraya Les Breteches. The GMS and sangiovese were definitely my favorite. It was a really great experience! Everyone was really friendly, the price was incredible, and the wine was high quality. I definitely hope to be back here.“

This is a lovely fairly recent addition to Highland Park and one that I recommend you explore. If the name sounds familiar, it should. There are two other locations you may very well be familiar with, one on Waukegan road in Wheeling, and the other in Roselle. I would recommend starting with a flight to get a better feel for the range of wines they offer. There are your expected staples, along with some more aperitif sweeter options. Some of my faves this visit were the Tempranillo 2019,Sauvignon blanc, and the Syrah. The sweets were honestly too sweet for this kid. There is a wine club that you can join and I recommend that you do, we did! If you are looking for a third place to catch up with friends or family, the HP location will definitely lend itself well. Also take advantage of Wine Down Wednesdays for additional deals as well. If you happen to be visiting The Lot for an event, caddy corner across the street, this venue is literally steps away, be sure to stop in and say hello. If needed, the parking across from the venue allows three hours free.“

From the moment we walked in it felt like we were in Spain- from the greeting by the waiters when we walked in, to the music, the wine bottles on the wall .... And most of all... THE FOOD!!! The Gambas Al Ajillo was the standout dish- so incredibly flavorful and authentic- but more flavor than most tapas bars I went to in Barcelona. We also had the octopus, chuleton steak, patatas bravas and like 9 more. Everything better than the next. My friends husband said the steak was one of best steaks he's ever had. The wine list was well curated, amazing job there and the vermouth hit the spot. We loved the cava. The service was top notch- Juan our waiter explained each dish and his recommendations were perfect. The food comes out fast - the whole staff did a wonderful job. It really shows how much they love their jobs-everyone was smiling and laughing. It is a bit loud at times because the dining room is small but we loved the whole vibe. What a hidden gem!!!
