“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. “We've eaten at Cooper's Hawk a couple of times - the food is surprisingly good, like much better than I would've imagined for even a small chain. The wine is, of course, particularly good. I don't drink anymore but I loved their Zinfandel when I did, and we always get rave reviews when we gift a bottle of Cooper's Hawk wine.“

“I would probably go 4.5 but I'll round up because we did have great service. We came during restaurant week and got the four course meals. In all we got: Crab croquettes: 4/5 Kale apple salad: 5/5 Burrata: 4/5 Bok choy: 4/5 Steak dish: 5/5 Agnolotti: 4/5 Crème brûlée: 3/5 Chocolate dessert: 4/5 The salad and steak are must orders! Everything else was tasty too! The agnolotti was on the sweet side which was different but still good. The bok choy was a bit too smoky for my taste but still good. The crème brûlée lacked some flavor but the salted caramel ice cream and crispy bits on the chocolate dessert was delicious and I'm not even a chocolate person. For wine, I got the orange wine (mellower one) and the still rose. Both were good! My husband got the Chianti which was also good. We would def come back! They also have a good happy hour specials so we will try to come for that.“

I probably wouldn't return for a while since the majority of their menu is red meat and cheese (which I don't eat) but perhaps when their menu is updated seasonally, if they have a different seafood option. Finally, Wife and I walk back in to join our friends and overhear 2 servers discussing with the host about not seating anyone after 9pm (they close at midnight btw) Great to know that you wanting to close early is more important than actually doing your jobs and making easy money (we only got drinks and 2 apps) Pathetic, will not come back. Being in the Mixology industry for so many years it's often difficult to find establishments that carry everything that I need when I do events or when I happen to be training bartenders one thing's for sure and two things for certain that this establishment is the One-Stop shop for all your needs you are greeted with welcoming smiles and friendly hellos there is a very homely presence whenever you are in any of the three locations you will quickly notice the eye-catching displays and the different selection of spirits and wines one of my favorite Spirits would be tequila and rum anyone that knows me I like Jamaican Apple Puerto Rican rum Dominican rum Brazilian rum and when it comes to Tequila I like more of a robust taste so I really mostly lean towards a very good aged Reposado or anjeoAlso for my cigar lovers there is an amazing selection of premium cigars and also there are hookah starter kits and there's even something for customers who might not want any alcohol there are tons of non-alcoholic wines beers and beverages don't take my word from it just stop by and experience the world class customer service that Eddie and his team have to offer.“

The evening was nothing short of magical, beginning with the Market Oysters that were delicately smoked and served with a tangy mignonette sauce. The shishito peppers, paired with a savory topping, were a burst of flavor that set the stage for the rest of the meal. Each dish was a masterpiece, not only in taste but also in presentation. The Pork Belly was succulent and perfectly seasoned, melting effortlessly at each bite. The Fried Chicken & Caviar was a surprising blend of down-home comfort and upscale indulgence, creating a delightful contrast. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Hearth Grilled Scallop. The cauliflower purée and fresh melon provided a sweet and creamy backdrop to the perfectly charred scallops. Following this was the Blue Crab with sofrito, which was a testament to the chef’s attention to detail and flavor balance. For dessert, the Butternut Squash Sorbet was a refreshing palate cleanser, and the Banana with pecan ice cream ended our meal on a decadently sweet note. Each plate was not only a treat for the palate but a feast for the eyes, served on beautifully curated dishware that enhanced the overall experience. “I was looking online for good deals on wine tasting and came across this place. I'm so glad I went to check it out! The ambiance is super nice, big windows and plants and lots of wood decor. It has a very local, casual vibe, and many of the people there seem to be regulars. I went for the wine tasting, which they offer every Thursday from 5-7pm. The tasting costs only $5, but it is free with any purchase. We bought the red wine cheese set for around $13, so we got our wine for free. They also kindly cut and arranged the cheese for us, and it was perfect for two people. We got to try four wines: Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio, Schild Estate GMS, Viva Valentina Sangiovese, and Chateau Kefraya Les Breteches. The GMS and sangiovese were definitely my favorite. It was a really great experience! Everyone was really friendly, the price was incredible, and the wine was high quality. I definitely hope to be back here.“

“This is one of West Loop's hidden gems that you have to check out. The venue seating is much more intimate, which is a huge relief from the other overcrowded and loud West Loop alternatives. Food is very consistent and staff and ownership are always friendly and accommodating. There is amazing live music on the weekends with some incredibly talented musicians and singers-it's pretty common for many musicians to pop in and you get to bask in a wonderful jazz ensemble. I highly recommend trying the owner's signature Hawaiian bread pudding dessert to end your night. Be sure to check it out!“
