“The Alchemist is quite simply fantastic. I can’t think of anyplace where you can get better seafood. So many cocktail bars offer drinks with great names but with no pizzazz when it come to the taste. All of The Alchemist’s cocktails have pizzazz, and if you don’t see something you want, have the bartender mix something up for you on the spot!“

“We tried TOB last evening for the first time because my neighbor recommended this place very highly. We were blown away at how friendly the owner is, how cool this place is, and HOW DELICIOUS THE FOOD IS!!! We were told to try the clam chowder and anything with jammy bacon. We tried both things and both were so good! This place reminds me of the TV program, Cheers, because it’s very easy to talk with people; we can’t wait to go back next month :-)“

“We hosted a party at The Lewis last night and were so impressed by how seamless and easy the entire planning process was. The staff communicated clearly every step of the way, which made everything stress-free. Dominic was our server for the evening, and he was absolutely wonderful—attentive, on top of drinks and water, and he brought such a great personality to the night. He played a big part in making the event run so smoothly. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend hosting your next party here!“

“The Fortunes in South Elgin is really a friendly place. The staff is a lot of fun. Everyone seems to know each other there. It’s very clean. It’s got good drink specials and free snacks and soda and water. I think it’s the best place in South Elgin to play, and there are quite a few all around this area.“

“My husband and I stopped by while taking the kids holiday shopping. My husband had the cranberry rum mule. I had the peppermint espresso martini. The drinks were made quickly and the woman on staff was welcoming and kind. The drinks were high end restaurant quality! We will revisit Tapville again in the future!“
