“Great bourbon. The drink and bartender Rochelle was outstanding. Also you can buy bourbon here!! Win win!”
“Every time we come here is a great experience. The food is amazing, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great for a date night or a night out with friends. The owner always makes it a point to come out and greet all the customers, truly just a warm and inviting experience. The food is homemade and fresh, and it does not taste or feel like so many corporate chain restaurants. I recently had the Panini Con Salccicia sandwich and it was to die for! Please keep this one on your menu forever! I find myself craving it. We will be back again, soon!”
“Excellent food with a rotating menu of exquisitely crafted dishes. Wonderful wine selections, and amazing service. This is our favorite restaurant in all of the northwest suburbs! I highly recommend the Sunday brunch, and the weekly specialty Bloody Marys.”
“My granddaughter brought me to Gia Mia for my birthday. Food was excellent and the service was beyond excellent…very attentive to detail and everyone was very pleasant. From appetizer to dessert, it was wonderful. Hopefully I can celebrate my 80th birthday at Gia Mia next year. Maybe a small party💕 thank you Gia Mia for a great birthday dinner. Huge thank you to my special granddaughter, Olivia for a wonderful birthday! Treat!”

“Being a celiac person, I love that they have options for me and I feel safe ordering, knowing they take care in preparing the meal. The food is very tasty, I love that I can get cheese curds.”
“My husband and I had our 1st meal inside the restaurant. We’d dined on the patio several times. We loved the ambiance inside. We began with the burrata appetizer-outstanding. I opted for the lamb chop special and my husband had the misto de mare, both were delicious. To finish our wonderful dinner, we had the lemoncello and mascarpone cake. Scrumptious!”

“Limited menu done right. Portions are small but prepared with care. Always consistent. Shy away from the calamari friti. I’ve had it a few times and hoped it would get better . Barely any shrimp the “ piece. Contained are small and few as is the actual squid. Loaded with veggies instead. Not a value or good choice! The twin medallions of beef are delicious but not substantial. The white fish is the best dish on the mine!”

“I ordered a dairy free smash cake and a regular cake from Eye Candy Bake Shop for my daughter’s birthday. Everyone raved about the birthday cake and my daughter loved her personal cake! I was shown how to properly cut the cake and had help bringing the cake to my car - something most bakeries don’t do anymore! We will definitely order more cakes/desserts in the future!”
“The steamed BBQ pork buns are a must! Beyond delicious. I also am a huge fan of the gluten-free thin rice noddles that I substitute in my main dish typically! The spicy ramen broth is delicious (my husbands go-to). If you are in a rush, this might not be the place for you. A true mom and pap shop, perfecting every dish before serving. For my husband and I, it’s well worth the wait for the authentic divine flavors. Great portion sizes as well!”
“The Alchemist is quite simply fantastic. I can’t think of anyplace where you can get better seafood. So many cocktail bars offer drinks with great names but with no pizzazz when it come to the taste. All of The Alchemist’s cocktails have pizzazz, and if you don’t see something you want, have the bartender mix something up for you on the spot!”
“Another absolutely wonderful lunch at Atwater's. Love everything about this restaurant. Food is fantastic. The chicken Gouda crepes are fabulous. Asparagus cooked just right. Can't wait to return.”

“An amazing restaurant that we will definitely return to!
We ordered the beef Bourguignon, steak, chicken roulade, and ratatouille pasta — every dish was absolutely delicious. The beef was incredibly tender and literally melted in the mouth, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful and refined.
For appetizers, we had a meat and cheese board, which was outstanding and a perfect start to our meal.
The service was exceptional — our waiter was very attentive, polite, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We were also pleasantly surprised by a complimentary treat from the restaurant — two types of sherbet. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they also gifted us ice cream, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture.
The interior is very beautiful, stylish, and cozy, creating a wonderful atmosphere for a special evening.
Highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back!”
“Oh my goodness. You have to try this new restaurant. Open less than a week, but they really have it together. Went as group of four and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Three of us don’t eat meat. We were shocked by all the options we had. We decided to share so we could taste as many different dishes as possible. We enjoyed 2 appetizers, Tetela and Crostinis. Both were wonderful , but the fan favorites were the Crostinis with focaccia bread, roasted brussel sprouts, burrata cheese foam, hazelnuts, pesto, truffle honey, and basaltic glaze. The apple and beets salad was wonderful, as was our main coarse, cauliflower steak. My meat eating husband loved his Wagyu burger. We finished with the rice pudding and coconut desserts. They were both amazing and the presentation was beautiful, with edible greens and flowers. Chef Christian and his wife Sarah graciously explained everything. Their pride in this new venture was obvious. I strongly suggest you check out Enigma before it’s discovered and you can’t get a reservation.”
“Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.”
“The staff have been really rude to me ever since I pointed out that my tab was wrong and I was overcharged. I wasn't upset about the double charges, I just wanted them corrected. I've barely been waited on since then it seems. I tried to step in a help once when a patron had been over served. It wasn't welcomed at all. I was given the same look as I get when I walk up to the bar to get a drink. Too bad, it's really close to home to me. I haven't been in over a year and have no plans on returning.”
“I am so happy they are opened again. They were temporally closed which finding another restaurant that services the same quality of food is a challenge in this area. We always order take out and the food has great flavor and cooked well. We always order the fried rices and lo mien which any of the versions are good. General Tsao and Sesame Chicken.”

“wowza that bartender lady with the black and white hair was incredible and deserves more than a raise! she should own the whole company! i made her a godfather to my child
mmmmmbread”
“I haven’t had the opportunity to check the restaurant itself but I order through UberEats constantly and need to share how wonderfully delicious their South West Chicken Salad is. I’ve had it multiple times and it is consistent, flavorful and beautifully presented. Definitely give Geneva Ale House a try.”

“Food is delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and chill. The staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. We were there with my 7 and 10 year old for dinner. My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind. Thank you Stockholms for being an amazing place. Highly recommend. Highly highly recommend.”
“Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!”
“Just don't rely on the app waitlist...when you get this message: You're next in line to be seated! Please head to the host stand now. Enjoy your brunch! Text "cancel" if your plans change. DONT EXPECT YOUR NAME TO BE CALLED....standing next to the host stand waiting to be called, not text, standing 3 feet away....I finally looked at my phone and I was cancelled...warning keep your heads on your phone, impersonal but it's the way it is.”
“Best steal burrito I've had. It was an actual steak, grilled then cut to pieces, not the chopped steak that's been on a grill forever. Perfectly seasoned, almost didn't need any salsa (and that's part of my reason for getting burritos!). Husband loves pastor and is a bit of a connoisseur and said it was phenomenal. The red sauce is a good actual pepper red, not too hot. The green sauce is the best verde sauce I've had. Very authentic on both. The house salsa was very fresh and bright, with some heat to it. Or server was very polite and accommodating. We may have found a new favorite. 5/5.”

“Always have a fabulous sub. I’m gluten free so they have a fabulous GF bun. I love most of the staff. They remember you and are funny ......It’s my one treat that I enjoy so much ....always get #2 extra meat and dressing. Thank you Jersey mike for keeping it real”
“Stopped in with a friend after a metra ride. Hung out at this establishment while we waited for my phone to charge up and for Uber to come. Typical mixed bar of locals and commuters. Sports oriented. Did not check out the menu. We just ordered a beverage. Wait staff was kind, cheerful, and attentive. They have a nice patio as well. A great place to relax as you wait for a train or a great place to unwind after a day downtown and long train ride.”
“She knows both her coffees and her teas and will happily share her knowlwdge with you. I have learned so much from her about all of the different teas. Need a tea for insomnia or for anyhthing else just ask she will point you in the right direction. Very kind and apprciates your business”
“Staff- service- and the beer selections???? What else????? They are the best!”

“That was a really good Shamrock milkshake Boba drink never thought it would taste good with Boba. It was such a good drink. I want to have it every day but I know it’s only seasonal but that’s OK. It was so good. You guys do such a good job making your drinks I loved it a lot.”
“Very happy baristas in the wee hours of the morning . . . what would make me even happier would be if they could serve me cold brew diluted with hot water instead of cold water and ice, as I have requested multiple times and have been denied 😭 "Cold brew is 67 percent less acidic than other varieties, which means that it may be easier for people with sensitive stomachs to digest." And I would prefer it warm instead of iced on these chilly mornings 😘 Is this really being too particular . . . at Starbucks?!”
“Just my opinion, but I think they have the best pizza in the trinity area. While the pizza prices may seem a tad higher than the competition, it’s well worth as the put more cheese and toppings than most of their competition, so you need feeer pieces. It’s always very clean, and the husband wife owners are both very nice.”
“I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious. Pair any meal with the beer or drink of your choice, catch a game on one of their multiple TVs and you’ve got a nice evening! Be sure to say hey to Natalie and Archie, they’re two of the best bartenders you’ll meet.”
“Went here for the first time today and the food was great. The Pad Thai slapped, the lunch special was a good value. What more do you want? 5 stars. I loved the portrait on the wall of the Thai military dude. Great ambience. It had a cigar and some whiskey under it to comfort him in the afterlife. Please do the same for me when I go.”
“Rating this place is difficult because I love BBQ and I’ve been searching for a good one for awhile. The first time coming here (take out) was fantastic. Plenty of food, good prices, good service, and delicious food. The second time (dine -in) following a few months was not the same. Food was not all that tasty and Mac & cheese is always spicy regardless requesting without spice. It just didn’t hit the same. I do enjoy this place and want to visit a third but unsure if it’ll be like loving my first visit or settling like my second visit. Regardless, I still believe this might be one of the best BBQ place in the suburbs, which coming from is says a lot. I have had plenty of ribs from plenty of places!”

“I really appreciate Lariesa’s suggestion, first time trying your biscuits… Fresh and tasty… the jam took to another level.
The chilaquiles could have used more salsa … too dry for my liking.
I would recommend reserving ahead”
