Perfectly seasoned, almost didn't need any salsa (and that's part of my reason for getting burritos!). Husband loves pastor and is a bit of a connoisseur and said it was phenomenal. The red sauce is a good actual pepper red, not too hot. The green sauce is the best verde sauce I've had. Very authentic on both. The house salsa was very fresh and bright, with some heat to it. Or server was very polite and accommodating. We may have found a new favorite. 5/5.“

“The restaurant is tucked inside a produce store, and let me tell you—this was the best Barbacoa I’ve ever had. The rice and beans were on point, which is impressive considering how many Mexican restaurants miss the mark on that. The grocery store itself was just as impressive. I wouldn’t recommend coming here hungry and trying to shop—it’s dangerous! From fresh baked goods to a small Mediterranean food stand serving some of the best Shawarma, this place has it all. Honestly, it was more impressive than any Caputo’s or Jimenez I’ve ever stepped foot in.“

“It’s delicious. Batavia is really lucky to have this place. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I suppose I haven’t been to El taco grande in a long time but El Sazon is for sure legit. Likely better than any place you’ll find in Geneva or Saint Charles.

I got the steak burrito and came out pretty quick. It was delicious with the rice and beans.

I got the Jamaican water as a part of the meal combo and that was also very tasty. Just a hair on the sweet side for me, but it was still very nice and refreshing.

This place is delicious. The cost is close to what you would pay at McDonald’s for a meal and better quality for sure.“

“I love this place so much!!! I stumbled upon it June 2023, and I’m forever grateful for that. 5 Star customer service! 5 Star food AND drink. I really wish more people would support this establishment. It’s hands down the best hispanic dishes in the area. Not even exaggerating. My fav is their chorizo tacos with grilled onions and cilantro and their carne asada. I don’t even eat refried beans, but I LOVE theirs. I travel 45 mins to dine there. It’s worth it. Support! They start you off with fresh made tortilla chips and salsa that was really good. We ordered the steak taco dinner and the cheese enchilada dinner both were very good!!! I asked if the green or red enchilada sauce was spicy and it's not. I was wanting it to be spicy. The lady was very accommodating and said since they weren't very busy at the time they could make it spicy. “Despite living in an area with some of the best Mexican food, it can still be surprisingly difficult to find Mexican food that delivers the authentic flavors I remember from before going vegan. Totopos absolutely delivers! Their vegan options are clearly not an afterthought, with several offerings to choose from. I tried the grilled veggie tacos (my favorite), veggie burrito, soy chorizo sopes, and a pineapple tamale, and everything was delicious. Be sure to order the burrito and sopes without sour cream and cheese—they also offer vegan cheese for an additional cost. I especially appreciate that they offer both soy-based options and vegetables that are actually flavorful—not the sad zucchini and squash I’ve had at other restaurants. The grilled vegetables in particular were so good. I placed my order for delivery and I also appreciate that they placed plenty of salsa in the bag for me. Excited to order again and try more of their vegan options!“

Excellent meal from start to finish. The fajitas were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and served in very generous portions. The chicken and mixed fajitas were well seasoned and came with plenty of grilled peppers and onions. The nopales, refried beans, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and handmade tortillas were all very good and complemented the meal perfectly.

Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the presentation was impressive. The portions were substantial, and the quality was excellent for the price. We also tried the jericalla for dessert, which was a great way to finish the meal.

Service was attentive and efficient, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend. Daniel is outstanding service!

All outstanding. If you want the meal option (2 sides and a drink), you can opt for pinto beans instead of the usual refried beans; rice; a fountain drink; and the 3 tacos, for under $20. It is a good value because the quality is good.“

We had a group of about 80 people, and the restaurant handled everything flawlessly. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it perfect for a large gathering. Despite our big group, the space felt very spacious; it never felt crowded or congested. The entire place was also spotlessly clean, which we truly appreciated. A special shoutout to the customer service, which was top-notch from start to finish.
