“I was traveling and left my wallet there after an amazing meal. Hours before my flight home I realized and called the restaurant. Not only did they have my wallet but the cash I was traveling with was untouched.In a world that has grown so gravely hopeless I can not tell you what a blessing it was to have such a kindness, such a reminder that the dark can not snuff out the light.. that good people doing good things are everywhere.This restaurant is full of good food, and more importantly some dang good peopleThank youGOD BLESS YOUThank you for the good food and the reminder that Goodness is out there“
“Burgers, burgers, and tacos! What else can a girl ask for? Real meat, duh! This place delivers. Food takes 1 or 2 minutes longer because Don Rafa, the owner, cooks it when the order is placed. It is not precooked and reheated like your most popular restaurants in Batavia and especially Geneva. I should know, I worked for them. People have become accustomed to fake frozen patties from fast food joints and have forgotten that great things, take some time. I much rather wait an extra minute for real meat than pay for microwaved fake meat.*** I have an msg allergy. No MSG being used on my tacos. That means the meat is naturally of great quality without using meat tenderizer like the other taco joints in Batavia.Tacos are a great size and the burritos are ?!!Try the breakfast burritos. Best breakfast in town.Although I do wish for the place to get remodeled.Must try. I prefer to go orders here:)Vegetarian options: This place is family owned. The burrito was very authentic and packed I enjoyed every bite. Along with their salsa’s! ? WOW!! ? Better than store ? brand. Also their home made crispy fries ? were very delicious ? crispy man oh man ? I enjoyed every bite. Despite it being very busy the waitress was able to take our order and give us our food in no time. I was astounded in how fast the food came out despite their restaurant being packed with people every table was taken.Thank you so much for your service and delicious ? mouth watering food it really satisfied our hunger. “My all time favorite Pepe’s location. The food is excellent. I typically just get the Chicken Nachos with extra chicken and extra grilled onions. It is PERFECTION. The sautéed grilled opinions alone are worthy of the drive. I get extra to add them to my regular meals. They don’t use the yellow thick tortillas that overpower the meal or that liquid cheese. The chips are an ideal thickness and the cheese is freshly shredded. They are super generous with the drinks as well. The people who work here are always enjoyable to be around. My family now drives from the city just to eat at this location.“
“Went there at 10 am. The young man who made my Carne asada burrito did a B A N G U P job. My burrito was fat, the steak was A1, never had egg in a burrito but it's standard issue here and it's delicious. I can throw down on a lot of food and that burrito with the hot sauce filled me up to the point where I couldn't eat the other stuff I got with it! 5/5, 10/10,“
“The food was absolutely delicious I got a steak burrito and it was probably the best one I have ever had! The service was amazing everyone was friendly and the food came out quick. The atmosphere in there was really nice too, it's a place I recommend going to, I know I will be back soon!“
“Twas the night before Christmas Eve and I was left with all the last minute procrastinator Christmas errands. I decided to go grab a mid shopping spree margarita and found myself at El Taco Grande. Before I knew it I was multiple margaritas and taccos deep and it was just me.....the atmosphere is sooooo cozy and authentic, down to the perfect lighting. As an avid margarita drinker, I totally approve. I like my margaritas to have a purpose "enough tequila" while still tasting delicious. This restaurant delivers just that. I enjoyed some vegetable and avocado tacos to even out and was pleasantly satisfied. The service was perfect. Everyone was so sweet and respectful and attentive but not annoyingly, they where all amazing. Upon walking in, one of the staff held the door open for me with a warm welcoming. I will be returning!!“
