“We go for the mushroom tacos and take a LARGE salsa and chips to go whenever we eat there. The restaurant isn't much to write home about, but the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent.

Vegetarian options: We drive there for the mushroom tacos and burritos.”

“i’ve always driven by this place and thought, “i should go try them out.” well tonight i did! my boyfriend and i dined in and it was a pleasant surprise. the place is clean, everyone is friendly, the food is good and the service is great! i’ve never had such attentive and polite service in a restaurant before. our waitress was SO thoughtful! the ambiance was great- soft, subtle music, good lighting, i felt like i could be comfy there in my workout gear or fancy stuff if i wanted! it’s a very comfortable place. i loved the sweet and sour shrimp and the fresh spring rolls! prices are fair and the bathroom is much better than places i spent 3x the money at. support this local restaurant. they’re doing it right. thank you to everyone who took care of us tonight.”

“New Moon Vegan is such a special place in Batavia. I’ve been waiting for our wedding photos to write this post as the cake was one of my favorite parts of our day. From the first meeting to the day of, Jo’s execution of our desserts was more than I could have imagined. We had so many compliments on our different cake options: lemon-lavender, mocha, and cherry almond. Jo even made some chocolate gluten-free cupcakes for a few of our guests. I’m so grateful to Jo and Jay for their work and look forward to the next time I can use them for a special occasion.”

“Stopped in for a networking event with the chamber of commerce and was really impressed by the quality of coffee and tea. This place is a step above the rest! Hidden gem for sure!!! And the owner is super friendly and accommodating. The science aspect is also super cool, love what they’re doing with getting kids interested in science!”

“Good tasting coffee with friendly service. They have a kids menu for drinks which was nice. They don't have indoor seating. They have a drive thru and a walk up window with a small patio. No umbrellas and it was pretty sunny out today but nice rocking chairs.”

“When I look for a while in the wall, this is the kind of place I picture. The booths are from an old Dairy Queen and there are Christmas decorations on the wall. The plane was clean but it felt like a 1980 DQ with a new sign.I was very skeptical when walking in and there was nobody dining in. True this was an early lunch but they serve breakfast ?The menu is 5x7 framed pics of the dishes. I was not having a good feeling at that point. But ... Trust the reviews I tell myself ? I ordered the Philly and water and my wife had fish tacos. The water was in bottles, warm. I asked for ice and they looked at me like they didn't know how to fill that request. So far, not too happy with my choice.And then came the food. OMG The Philly was amazing. It's not your traditional Philly, it tasted like skirt steak with shredded cheese melted on top. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife's fish chicken tacos were amazing too. Now I'm happy that we stuck it out ? I think I can get past some of the negatives that I felt at the beginning because it's worth it for the food.Fyi they will charge you for using a credit card and there is no fountain machine for pop.I'm not in the area much but will probably try it again when I am.”

“I play for pool league out of this location, so I have to be here, but the tater tots are really what keeps me coming back! They are the best around, if you ask for them extra crispy they are very accommodating and do it with no issue! I’ve slowly started to explore the menu because you can never miss with the tots! If you’re a potato enthusiast, I highly recommend checking this place out! You’ll want to eat every last one and maybe ask for more!”

“What can I say about the Users Center? I am not an employee of Fermilab, but fell upon the users center one afternoon while birdwatching on their spacious and beautiful open lands. I am eternally grateful to be embraced by many diverse , funny and intelligent, (of course ) employees of Fermilab who I now call my friends. The users center is open to all but mostly frequented by residents and employees of Fermi. There is a bar run by a creative and warm welcoming bartender and a menu that offers tasty appetizers, sandwiches and a few chef prepared entrees.”

“I recently tried a Peruvian beef empanada from Umbrella Azul Inc., and it was the best empanada I've ever had!!! The pastry was perfectly crispy, and the beef filling was tender and bursting with flavor. Simple, authentic, and absolutely delicious—this is a must-try!”

“Disappointing. Have given this place a few tries, but last night was the last. Ordered a sausage pizza and there literally was 1 piece of sausage per slice on majority of the slices of pizza. Some slices actually had no sausage. Plus it was dry. Lifted up the cheese and there was barely any sauce. And, end pieces had no cheese. Took a pick when it was mostly gone....we were hungry so ate in anyways. We were very disappointed. A bad night maybe ? They weren't busy at all, no one inside. Really wanted to love this place, but....”
