“I came here to order a smoothie. At first, the smoothie was half liquid like it has been stayed there for hours. It did not tasted fresh nor it looked fresh. I walked in again asking for a remake and explain the employee what has happened. The employee was polite and remade it for me right away. I’ve been a customer for this business for years and would keep being one! Thank you for your understanding, patience and kindness! And best of all, they upgraded my drink size to a bigger size!!“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. “This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. We ordered the stinky tofu, tofu is very flavorful. The veggie pot is so delicious that I saw from someone else sitting there and I could not help but to ask the name of the dish.“

“The incense in the restaurant is very nice. I ordered shrimp egg roll (crispy) and potstickers. I can tell the egg rolls are homemade, and you'd be surprised how.manu places don't make them from scratch. The pot stickers are delicious and homemade as well. I was a tiny bit unhappy that my order wasn't ready when I got there, but the online ordering platform scheduled it for their exact opening time, so I'm going to give them a pass on that. They wrapped my soda in cardboard with a rubber band so that It wouldn't move around or get hot with the food. The eggrolls from here are the best I've ever had. From the service (I'm so sorry that I didn't get his name, but he was a younger guy, working at 7:30 on 6/18 and it was his mom's birthday....if that helps up identify which worker)....he was super nice and super helpful! Please pass along how great he is!! But besides the service, the food was AMAZING! I've been in search of a new place, and I'm beyond happy that I happened to be getting ice cream, next door, and happened to see their menu in the window. So far have tried momos, Chili paneer, paneer tikka and chicken tikka burgers, hakka noodles, veg pizza, onion samosas, pastries, tea, coffee, chikoo shake and Monk's special fries. I liked all except the momos and the tea and coffee are not consistent. One time it is good then the next time it's not as good.“

Is your food going to be cold sometimes? Yeah. It's a buffet run by, what looks like, mostly a family. They're not going to be pumping out fresh entrees every half hour.

The classic vibe is all there. A booth for cleaning supplies, because can you even trust a buffet where you don't see a wash pail out and about? A booth reserved for the kids of the owner/worker on duty? Absolutely, and they're polite. Pizza, onion rings, and French fries? You bet your sugar buns. Tajin on the table? Absolutely, this isn't Darien.

Honey Chicken, Weirdly Sweet Crab Rangoons, Crayfish.. just all the classics and don't forget the Jello cubes.

“First time ordering from here, I opened the bag and was pleasantly surprised at how well packaged everything was and just the overall presentation. Then I opened the containers and there is no skimping on portions here. It was close to overflowing. And to top it off, it is absolutely delicious.
