“My new favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is awesome, the people are friendly, and everything was great. We dined in, had an order of dumplings, curry chicken, and shredded pork with special sauce. Everything was fantastic. 100% will be going back again.“

“We normally order from one of two other places in the Naperville/Lisle area and had not had Lucky Wok before. We ordered a mixed bag of things and I have to say it feels like real food and not just either warmed up Costco stuff or msg and velveted meats. Like the chicken is real chicken and good chunks you aren't searching for it. Crab Rangoon was good to be honest the egg drop soup was really good. Fried rice was moist. We will order from there again.“

“Unbelievable. My son and I had tried all of their popular items. First, the Beef Noodle Soup, to die for. The flavors and rich and balanced and the best soup ive ever had and I look for the best ramen, pho, noodle soups, and etc... the soup dumplings incredible and the perfect size. The grandma's fried rice is delightful, and worth it. The Cheng Du dumplings were good but I would skip them for the rest of the dishes listed here, and the Dan Dan Noodles unfortunately didnt have any flavor and wouldn't get those again. All in all, this place beat the expectations. Thank you for the great food!“

“This is THE best dinner spot outside of Chicago if you don't want to spend $100 a plate. Ordered a bunch of gluten free food as my wife has celiac and we couldn't believe the quality - you would never know it's not gluten! They take their care with cross contamination and they were incredibly fast and polite. 1000000/10 my only date night spot now“

“It seems like this restaurant may be under new management, and my experience was a bit mixed. 🤔 The food was decent and tasted fine, but the portions felt smaller than expected considering the prices. 🍽💸 Unfortunately, the service was the biggest disappointment. Our server didn't seem very welcoming and appeared annoyed whenever we asked questions about the menu, which made the experience less enjoyable. 😕 With so many great Asian restaurants in the Naperville area, I'd probably choose one of those before coming back. Hopefully things improve in the future because this place has potential. 🍜✨“

The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. “Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. We ordered the stinky tofu, tofu is very flavorful. The veggie pot is so delicious that I saw from someone else sitting there and I could not help but to ask the name of the dish.“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. The skin was really crispy and crunchy. The meat itself is not dry and bland unlike other lechon I have tasted. I served with my military friends and they all loved it. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. “Got take out, hot and sour soup was not like other hot and sour soups I've gotten - this one had a thicker and whiter broth than I've seen before, and pieces of chicken in it; no veggies or tofu, just mushrooms and chicken. But it tasted good and not oily or clumpy. Chicken lo mein was also good - the small portion is actually quite large, with large pieces of chicken that didn't seem overly processed. Everything was hot and fresh when I picked up, and not overly greasy (I believe the menu says no MSG also). The prices were rather high compared to other strip mall Chinese food, but portions are large. The dining area wasn't the cleanest, probably wouldn't eat in, but the kitchen seemed clean to me and no hair or anything in the food. I would go back to try some other dishes.“

“I visited this restaurant on my way to work. Even though they were short-staffed, the service was excellent. Both employees were very kind, and the place was clean.
The food looked fresh and freshly made. The woman who helped (Lorei) me was very attentive, kind, and professional, and took the time to make sure everything was right. I’ve worked in restaurants before, and I can confidently say their customer service is very good.
It’s far from my home, but I wouldn’t mind driving the extra distance if I’m going to receive customer service like this, along with fresh and delicious food.“
