“First time having food here and it was delicious. The price was very reasonable and the portions were huge!
This will be my new spot for Chinese food.
Also no tummy ache the next day which has happened to me before after different Chinese restaurants.“

“Good food friendly service. I got the plate that comes with 2 entrees and a side for $10.60. I got the chow mein with beef and broccoli and orange chicken. Food was hot and fresh and they give you a nice size portion. I had some left over to take home with me. We came here for lunch, sat by big beautiful windows enjoying the sun while staying cool eating lunch. They have a new menu item Wok Glazed Wagyu Dumplings and it’s pretty good.“

“The appetizer was brought with the meal. 3 of our 4 entrees were served cold. We had reservations for 5:30, checked in at 4:00, went to the bar. Went back to the reception desk at5:30, waited 20 minutes for our table. The waitress was very inattentive. Disappointed!“

“After going the first time I knew I'd be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We've also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns - all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it's not for everyone. Both times I've gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!“

“It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

“This is the second time we've ordered from here, and the food tastes great.
We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

“The combination rice was very good, and the crab rangoons were also delicious. The Kung Pao chicken, however, lacked flavor and seasoning, and the chicken quality wasn’t the best. The egg rolls were a nice size, but they also needed more flavor. The guy at the front was super helpful and very sweet.“

“I had take-out from Peking Chinese Food last night. It was very good. Ordered Egg-Foo Yung, General Tso's Chicken, Fried Chicken Wings. They have the best General Tso's Chicken around. The sauce is incredible! Perfect mix of spicy and sweet. And the Fried Chicken Wings are very tasty, cooked to perfection.“

“Just fantastic. My absolute favorite Chinese spot in the suburbs. Food comes out HOT and is prepared soon as you order. Wait time is usually ~15min for a regular sized order. I like sitting in their main area enjoying the sun streaming through the windows. Great family. Great food. Totally recommend.“

The BBQ pork Lo-Mein is incredible.

We’ve been looking for a new Chinese restaurant and it’s looking like Moon Temple is going to be our go to from now on.

The portions are a great value too.

They give you a lot of food for how much you pay for it.

And not to mention a lot of meat.

Like for once I didn’t have to order double meat/extra meat, what they give you is plenty.

Clearly a family run restaurant, so you can just tell they care about food quality and customer service. Everything is ready quickly. The closest Chinese restaurant was Jade Garden so I placed an order for chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, veggie lo mein, & 2 egg rolls. The order came with a side of white rice too. It was sooo much food; I had 2 plates worth to get my fill while my wife had 1. The next 2 days I ate leftovers for breakfast; I also passed along some food for my mom to try when I went to visit her. There was still enough remaining after all that for my wife to have a hearty lunch! Including tax it was $39ish which I felt was reasonable considering the sheer amount of food we received. “Got take out, hot and sour soup was not like other hot and sour soups I've gotten - this one had a thicker and whiter broth than I've seen before, and pieces of chicken in it; no veggies or tofu, just mushrooms and chicken. But it tasted good and not oily or clumpy. Chicken lo mein was also good - the small portion is actually quite large, with large pieces of chicken that didn't seem overly processed. Everything was hot and fresh when I picked up, and not overly greasy (I believe the menu says no MSG also). The prices were rather high compared to other strip mall Chinese food, but portions are large. The dining area wasn't the cleanest, probably wouldn't eat in, but the kitchen seemed clean to me and no hair or anything in the food. I would go back to try some other dishes.“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. The restaurant was a great ambiance, clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Now lets get to the good part the food... We had the combination rice Thai style, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and also the General Tso Chicken , followed by some of the signature rolls. OMG DELICIOUS. The taste of everything was so good, fresh, hot and so good. We loved everything brought to the table. We found a new spot to visit for sure. Highly recommend the food.“

“I've been coming to this place consistently for years and their dishes don't disappoint. It's what you expect from your local Chinese cuisine and I love it. They know how to make extra spicy, ACTUALLY spicy which is refreshing! I've also graduated to trying the Yu Xiang dishes and they are fantastic! I love their sauces and am never afraid to try something new due to their consistency. I'm not a fan of the egg rolls (too peanutty for me), but all the appetizers are great too.
