“Visited for the first time over the weekend. Had a wonderful time, loved the large varied menu, loved the food, loved my drinks, and really loved the performance by Denny Diamond! Three of us in our group and we can’t wait to return! Ordered many food and drink items from the menu because we were all trying the food for the first time and between the three of us, every item was a hit, with no misses. Will be back in August for Denny Diamond’s next performance!“

I'm really just heart broken knowing it's kind of a trek for me when I'm in Chicago becuase as good as the public transpo is in Chicago I'm in Lakeview and getting to Albany Park takes a while.

The outside looks like a Chinese Bodega in Queens NY, but the inside looks like it's been family owned and operated for decades, which it has, that sort of authenticity can't be faked. With a menu bigger than Cheesecake factories, these chef's run multiple wok's and a mise en place that puts french chefs to shame.

When you think Chinese/Korean, it's quite a 50/50 split with not one more prevelant than the other. When you think Korean you think banchan and kim chi's and pickled daikons, so in that regard it's more Chinese.

Apparently they have gotten some fame from social media, but I've been coming here long before that. Most of the patrons are Asian and all staff are, so your service is gonna be matter of fact. It's not so authentic that there are social mores to the tea pouring. They take your order quick and the food comes out quick, usually everything at once which is great for family sized meals/orders/parties versus date nights where there is conversation in between.

I feel like onions, green onions, carrots and peppers are in everything. I wish they had more xo sauce items becuase you can tell all their sauces are slurry enhanced. Still delicious, bold, thick, great. Prices are very affordable and the portions are plentiful. Fried rice is heavy on the msg and light on the soy sauce. They velvet all their beef, but the beef don't be beefing heavy, but their pork and shrimp are all succulent, soft, juicy without all that bi carb. Their szchewan sauce is something I dip their chicken lolipops in on top of their already sticky glaze. I tend to cut and add vinegar to a few of their dishes which is great.

It's M&P, down home, local. It's a place to bring your family, it's a place to stock your fridge with leftovers. It's the places metro cities are built on, despite it not being in Chinatown.“

“I knew I was in for a feast when the service was more of a get your crap and get out type of attitude. As all good Chinese food places are. the orange chicken and chow mein was really good. The crab Rangoon filling was sweet as God intended. I am so happy this place is so close to my house.“

In the past yrs started eating better... So clean and fresh tastes are important... At first was a bit iffy per the size of the wings... But then took into account the freshness of their food, taste and quality... We loved the flavor of everything... Crispy, not greasy... Extra soy blended perfectly into the rice... The egg foo young was fluffy and full, best looking sauce I've ever seen... It was smooth thick with a slight cream soup feel... Not jelly like... Not many places offer No Shell S&P Shrimp, love that they have the option with or without... No food coma zombies after, full but didn't feel gross... Delivery was on point... She said 45 minutes... In fact it was 45 minutes, including the 3 minutes it took me to give my order... A sweet older man delivered my order... The taste of the food reminded us of a China Buffet off Pulaski and Wellington.. Family owned, it was our wkly spot for over 20yrs... They watched me age into adulthood and watched my oldest 3 grow.. They've been closed for time now... But you're food reminds us of there... We'll be ordering again... Planning to stop for dine in as well...“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “Harmony Restaurant absolutely delivered. I ordered the beef Pad Thai, and it was chef’s kiss. Perfectly cooked noodles, tender beef, and a rich, balanced sauce that hit that sweet-savory sweet spot just right. Every bite tasted fresh and full of flavor without being heavy.
I usually take pictures of my food, but I was too busy enjoying it to remember always the sign of a great meal. Harmony lives up to its name with comforting, well-crafted dishes that keep you coming back. Highly recommend, especially if Pad Thai is your go-to.“

“This is my fav Chinese food spot around town. Their tofu is cooked well and everything always tastes great. Service is pretty quick too. I think most people order takeout but dining in is pretty chill too. Also, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of food that I usually end up taking home.“

“I was on my way to Panda when I saw this place and thought I’d try it instead - what a great idea! The place is cozy and clean inside, and smells amazing. The manager immediately seated me and offered me some water and hot tea, which was delicious. 5/5 on service and atmosphere

I was 30 minutes late for the lunch special, but he still let me order two (Mongolian beef for me and orange chicken my wife) - both of which he cooked fresh for us. 5/5 on food taste

“LOVE this place and low-key consider it a hidden gem. Prices are so reasonable, even after having gone up in January - lunch special is $8. Portions have shrunk some (that's to be expected when prices go up) but it's still enough food to fill you up. Occasionally they'll get something small wrong (fried rice when I asked for white), but everything I've ordered from here is tasty, which is what not only keeps me coming back, but keeps me telling my coworkers about this place.“

“I love this spot. Amazing hot & sour soup, egg drop has good strong flavor, the orange chicken they serve is nice and has a nice spice to it. The shrimp fried rice has very nice size shrimp. The chicken friend rice has a ton of chicken in it too. I really enjoy the fried wings (disconnected) as well, very delicious. I love the gravy from the shrimp with lobster sauce, good amount for shrimp for reasonable price. Always get the house sweet and sour chicken. It's superb. “This is the second time we've ordered from here, and the food tastes great.
We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. “We visited Fong’s Chinese Restaurant in November with my children when we were in Chicago for my son’s bootcamp graduation. It turned out to be such a warm and pleasant experience.

The service was very good, and the staff was genuinely friendly. We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the big servings—the food was delicious, fresh, and definitely worth the price. The attendant was especially kind; he even offered a small toy to my grandson to help cheer him up when he started crying. They also gifted us a 2026 calendar as a keepsake, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Food was good but the egg rolls had a sour taste. Maybe we got some that were old or not fresh but we wound up throwing them away.“

“Moon Temple has been our family's go to for decades. Up until recently it was my number #1 pick for all things Chinese. Unfortunately, since the change in management we feel it's lost it's edge. The slight changes in recipes/prep is noticeable, especially in the egg rolls, egg foo young, and Singapore rice noodles. I'm all about progress but they were so tried and true.

Don't get me wrong, Moon Temple is still better that most resturants out there but it's sadly lost it's edge over some of it's competitors. In time, I hope they revert back to the things that set them apart.“

“okay I am looking at the other reviews and the only thing that is a lie is large portions! there is no large portion! this is probably the smallest lunch special that cost close to $15 that I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant ever. you can go to a buffet and get all you can eat for $15. definitely a sample plate or portion for a child. “Food was pretty good in you're in a pinch, plus they open early. The interior is cozy and neat and their service was quick and amicable. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty standard and the fried rice was tasty, albeit just a bit too oily, and the chicken curry was fragrant and scrumptious but not as spicy as I would have preferred.
