“I’d been wanting to try Yao Yao for a while, and it was worth the visit. The space is modern with a menu centered around its signature pickled fish soup. The portion was huge and the broth had a satisfying spicy kick. I also loved adding the vegetables to soak up all the flavors. The twice-cooked pork was another solid dish. While the menu is more compact than other Sichuan restaurants, this is the spot if you are craving pickled fish.“

combo fried flat rice noodles were pure perfection! sichuan wonton and fried rice were also top notch. the dongo chicken special we had was flavorful but we didn’t know it was served cold. overall, the place is excellent and the server was friendly

opon our second visit we also ordered the dry chili chicken, flat rice noodles, sichuan wontons, and wonton soup. the egg drop soup was the only we didn't like but everything else was 10/10!“

The meal was not expedited so it took a total of 50 minutes for two entrees to come out of the kitchen. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. Hank was a awesome waitperson! He even brought out 5 different noodles for me to pick out the one I wanted. “It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

“This is actually one of our favorite restaurants in Chinatown, it’s really underrated.

They have a great selection of breakfast and Chinese dishes: the Chong Fun (rice rolls) and Sauerkraut Fish are some of our favorites.

There’s also a good selection of drinks.

It’s a huge plus that they aren't as crowded or hectic as other restaurants in Chinatown Square.“

“This was my third time visiting, and my second time visiting with my husband. On our first visit and today’s visit we had Jose as our server. Jose was so friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. He had asked my husband if he wanted a disposable bib since he was wearing a white shirt (which we thought was hilarious) but he explained that it was from personal experience and I would’ve never considered something like that for this type of meal, my husband accepted the offer and needless to say his shirt was spotless and mine was not. During our first visit we had our 2 toddlers with us and he never made us feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed because of the kids and was very understanding and respectful. The noises sucked so people with sensory issues just be prepared and maybe sit away from the front and in the corner.
