“Had a great meal at Lao Peng You in Chicago! Two of us shared the Dan Dan noodles and the pork & chive dumplings, and it was the perfect amount of food for both of us. The Dan Dan noodles were packed with flavor, had a nice kick of spice, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The pork & chive dumplings were delicious.

The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “Hi Hing Wang team,

I know this place since 2005, right after they moved from “under the Red Line train” to their actual address. Since then, I remember their chicken noodle soup was great. I say “was” because it’s not on the menu anymore. Their fried rice is amazing — I love it.

But today’s review is really because of the new lady there. She was cleaning every table, and it seemed like she was making sure everything was clean, or at least disinfected. When I arrived to pick up my order, I left my change as a tip. She called out to the kitchen staff and said, “Tips!” and everyone replied, “THANK YOU!”

I got excited, lol, and left even more tips. :)

Then, when she handed me my order, she said, “Thank you, have a nice day, and come visit again.” It blew my mind. I have never heard that from anyone at that place, haha. I got outside and checked again if I was at the same place.

Anyway, thank you for keeping the same taste all these years, and please keep that young lady there. She is perfect as a host.

The Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites along with their Pork Fried Rice, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes - BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, Beef Chop Suey on crispy chow mein noodles - all delicious. The servings are large - plenty to share or take home for tomorrow's lunch. All the staff are friendly and efficient, and you can eat in, pickup or order delivery. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

Was unpleasantly surprised to see that even though we are only 10 minutes away, we are outside the delivery zone (60624). We ended up ordering take out in spite of this because the prices were so good. I am baffled that Garfield Park is outside the delivery zone for a place that is basically next door in Douglass park-- it made me bump the service rating from 5 to 3.

We ordered two lunch specials and a taro smoothie, which was a substitution because they did not have papaya. A kind lady called to let me know about the papaya, which I appreciated.

The portions were huge especially considering we chose the lunch special. The food was great, exactly what I was looking to eat. I think they threw in some free egg rolls and tapioca for the smoothie mix-up, which I appreciate.

First I got the egg rolls and my wife and I both agreed they were very good. I do think they could use a bit more Chinese five spice or something to make them a bit more flavorful. The one thing that is great about this place is they master the Chinese and Korean dishes. The Cha Chiang Mien (Korean jajangmyeon noodles) is a popular dish here and it’s no wonder. It is so decadent and amazing! Loved this so much!!! Also had something very unique and equally amazing and that was Spicy Noodle Platter with shrimp, squid, pork and veggies in a savory spicy sauce.
