Old school joint. Mongolian beef and curry beef were very good and the portions were huge. Probably enough for 3 meals. Mee Mahs will always be the best there was for me when it comes to Mongolian beef, but Peking's is one of the better ones I've had. Wife really enjoyed the curry. The crab Rangoon was one of the most bland I've ever had. Crunch was good, but sweet and sour sauce was necessary. Egg roll was on the bland side as well. Wish they would have had hot mustard for it....read full review

Peking Mandarin Restaurant | Chinese is a hidden gem in Chicago. The seafood jjam-pong, Mongolian beef, Korean lollipop chicken wings, Jajangmyeon, black bean and pork noodles, dumplings, and crabragoons are all delicious. The dumplings are the biggest, and the noodles are excellent. The service is quick, attentive, and amazing. The owner is kind, funny, and friendly. One server speaks perfect Spanish and English. Gina provides great atmosphere and consistently excellent service. Her husband in the kitchen makes amazing food. The restaurant is truly special, with so many kind ajjumas and ajuhssis. Takeout has always been exceptionally good, and dine-in is also great. For a Korean craving homey food, this is the perfect place. A must-try for anyone wanting to feast.
