Genuinely my favorite hole-in-the-wall in all of Chicago. We don't need to talk about how much I've been here - it would embarrass you because you've never been that committed to anything. You don't go here to hang; you go here to slap exactly $17 in cash on the counter, tell them you came to pick up a large order of BBQ pork fried rice, and then leave to go and house that on your own because you deserve it goddammit. I've been going to this place since '98 and used to get takeout regularly when I lived in Chicago. Even now that we live in the Northern suburbs, I still drive 45 minutes to get "beef kow" aka the best dish ever, and the combination fried rice.
