Asian Cuisine Express Reviews
My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make...read full review
You ain't neva lived befo if you ain't never had no al pastor fried rice
I kept hearing about Asian Cuisine Express so I wanted to check it out for myself. At first I was honestly confused because I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be Asian food or Mexican food. Asian Cuisine Express offers a variety of dishes that blend Asian and Mexican flavors. Customers can enjoy "Mexican" Al Pastor Tacos, made with well-seasoned adobo pork, which are especially popular on Mondays when they are priced at $1.50. Despite being primarily a Chinese food spot, the restaurant serves excellent Al Pastor tacos that rival those in Mexico City. The tacos are highly praised for their authentic flavor and are available for take-out, with many customers ordering by phone and finding their orders ready promptly. The restaurant also features a wide range of fresh ingredients, including egg rolls and Singapore noodles, which receive high marks from diners. The shrimp in the dishes are noted for their clean taste and quality. The friendly and attentive service is often mentioned, with staff going out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction, such as returning forgotten cards. The pickled cauliflower side dish is also recommended as it is strangely addictive. While the restaurant’s main focus is on Mexican dishes like tacos, the atmosphere and flavors evoke a genuine Mexican experience, making it a favorite spot for many in the area.
