“absolutely amazing all around....we were in town from Wisconsin and were referred to a different place further away but decided on here instead....thankful we did. The Ramen was superb, rolls were amazing, and service could not have been better! thank you“
“I go there with a group for the lunch specials and the food was tasty and generous portions. The waitress is friendly but doesn't talk much because she's the only one waitressing and looks very busy, answering phone, cleaning up etc.“
“I placed an order for chicken with cashews. I was thrown off a bit. I guess I expected breaded chicken. However, it was ok. But the star of the show was the beef-fried rice! It has been YEARS since I've tasted beef fried rice with so much flavor! Although this was my first time getting food from this restaurant. It was good food, great customer service, and reasonable prices. I will be back to order again.“
“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“
“Tonight was our 3rd time there and they never disappoint. Our server Maya was AMAZING! Very sweet young lady! She made sure we had everything we needed. She always had a smile on her face and laughed/talked with us while taking our order & checking in on us. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation here. And if you get Maya as your server, just know she will take care of you. Thank you Maya!!“
“Food was great. I ordered egg rolls which were huge! Shrimp fried rice and sweet sour chicken. Takes time to prepare so call about an hour in advance. I believe there are just two people working. Perhaps a husband and wife business. Take out only!“
“I've been living in the greater chicagoland area for 3 years now and have struggled to find my go-to chinese spot and I finally found it! The egg rolls were delicious and so was the lo-me in. There is no dine it option, but your order is ready to carry away when you get there. Seamless pick-up with old school chinese restaurant charm.“
“This has become one of our regular places since moving here. We used to have a great restaurant by our precious home and were concerned about moving away and not finding a suitable replacement. But fortunately we did. Upon arriving it is somewhat unwelcoming with the sign on the door saying "Masks Required" and the other sign on the window saying "Carry Out Only". Just could be nicer I guess. The inside has 4 nice booths for eating so not sure why you can't eat in? Once inside there is a sign on the washroom door saying "Not a Public Washroom". The place is very clean and maintained. Of course what is really important is the food, service and price. We had Shrimp Fried Rice, Curry Chicken, egg rolls and Won Ton Soup. All were delicious but a little pricey. This remains being our first choice for Chinese Food!“
“It's been forever since I've had take-out Chinese food. With my family out of town, I had to get some! For $40, I got enough food for four days. It reheated well. The General Tso's chicken had just enough kick. The beef fried rice was plenty beefy. They had a steady stream of customers in and out. I can't wait to go back.“
“Small no dining great food! Also you don't wait long unless you order a lot but clean I hate they are cash only a Lil dangerous but who am I! Decent prices and food always hot n fresh from what I experience just ate there tonight orange chicken and spicy fried rice can't go wrong!“
“I've been coming here for years. Love their food, except their egg rolls for some reason. I usually order sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and steamed broccoli. Delicious. It's the standard pick-up only, quick service, fast food spot. Good portions, decent prices.“
“I've tried them twice before and did not like my meals. Came back after some time had passed and my meal was really good. I had the fried rice. Obviously a new cook or a caring establishment. I recommend them now to everyone. Keep up the good work and don't change anything.“
“Our first time visiting. It was soooo pretty inside. Loved the music. Our waitress was awesome. (Wish I would have gotten her name.). The food was superb! We had pot stickers, shrimp fried rice and Governor's chicken. It was all delicious!! We will be back!“
“I'm completely addicted to this place. So far it's been the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Chicago. The sweet and sour chicken is wonderful. Most of the time the chicken balls are nice and crispy. The lo mein is also quite good. My favorite is their general tsos. It's just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The only negative is that they aren't open on Mondays.“
“Upon entering the restaurant with my wife and daughter, we found the ambiance to be extremely calming with traditional asian soothing music playing in the background and Chinese lantern lighting in the front window area. We then met and were seated by JoAnn, the co-owner of the restaurant. After receiving our soup (Hot and Sour) found it to be the most balanced (perfect hot/perfect sour) and delicious soup we have ever had in a long time. We then ordered pot stickers and Szechuan won ton, JoAnn explained all the pot stickers and won ton are homemade from scratch, not from frozen as well as the smoothies made with REAL fruit, no concentrate. Our main course was not overly saucey but flavorful with just the right amount of sauce to add to each dish's unique palette. It is important to note that each dish we ordered was very traditional to the way Chinese cuisine should be prepared and was not overly salty, oily, or seasoned. We left our host and the restaurant feeling satisfied and will be bringing the entire family in the very near future. We have finally found OUR new Chinese restaurant!“
“Went there today for first time. Food Was Fire. I can't remember the last time I had Green Onions Cut Up On My Rice ,Egg Foo Young...... I'll Be Back. Thank You Very Much To Person Who Prepared My Food. I Can Tell They Cared And They Must Love To Cook. D.A.N.“
“China Garden offers a convenient option for Chinese cuisine to go. The menu features a variety of classic dishes like General Tso's chicken, fried rice, and lo mein. The taste is flavorful and satisfying, with good portion sizes. The restaurant's quick service makes it ideal for a quick meal on busy days. Prices are usually reasonable, offering good value for the quality and quantity of food. Keep in mind that taste preferences can vary, so it's always best to try a few dishes to see what suits your palate best.“
“This is the best place for Chinese food! They give you such huge portions and for the price you can’t beat it! The food is always extremely hot and you can tell they make it all fresh! Me and my family have been going here for awhile now and never had a complaint! I highly recommend this restaurant!“
“This place never fails to disappoint when I'm in the mood for some good Chinese food. The portions are fair for the price, and I've never had a complaint except that it's sometimes hard to order due to the limited understanding of English the owners have. They also always are very fast on delivery. Overall just a great hole in the wall Chinese place.“
“They don't have dine in now. Just pull up to the window and order your food. You have to wait a few minutes. As they are cooking up your food. But the food is worth it. Great egg rolls, egg Foo young is delish. Everything is real good.“
“I always order through Grubhub and get the soups! They package it SO well that if it even had a chance to tip and leak, it would leak into the plastic bag they put over the soup container. They put cardboard over the soups in the bag so they can place other items on top. Everything is always hot when I receive it even after the Grubhub ride over! The Wonton Soup is amazing, as is the Chicken Noodle soup. Tons of wonton and noodles! A+“
“My food and the service was great! Very fresh and tasty. I ordered the orange chicken, plain fried rice, veggies, and shrimp egg foo young for my family. Everyone enjoyed the meal. I'll definitely return again! Sorry I should've taken the picture before we ate.“
“This is an old fashioned Cantonese style restaurant. It does have one Dish that is becoming impossible to find at most Chinese restaurants. Hong Kong Steak, which is the Chinese version of a T-Bone Steak on a bed of bean pods, water chestnuts and Bok Choi.“
“Excellent tasting food. Large portions, so much so we have leftovers for dinner tomorrow. We tried their sizzling rice soup which had great flavor which included shrimp, chicken and pork with an abundance of vegetables. I went with my Mom and had 2 appetizers, shared the large soup (left overs there too) and our own main dishes and the Taro bubble drink. All for under $60. Unheard of these days! The services was quick and friendly. We landed up going here because our go to place was closed for a vacation. So glad we did because we found our new favorite place for Chinese food. I highly recommend you try their food.“
“We ordered our food to go. We both got the Samurai Choice(steak & chicken) chicken fried rice, appetizer noodle. The food was delicious. The steak and chicken was well seasoned. It's a little pricey but it was really good. I wish they had a hibachi lunch special.“
“I've been here many times and I really love the food here. There is plenty of variety to choose from on the menu, and it is well-seasoned. The service is polite and quick. Most recently, upon entering, we were greeted and seated in less than a minute. Our server quickly provided water and asked if we were ready to order. This night, we ordered chicken fried rice, chicken egg foo young, and orange chicken. The fried rice is my favorite at this location, with extra green onions! Our food was delivered to our table in approximately 10 minutes! Not only is the food delicious and quick, but they have also made interior improvements since COVID. The decor is swanky and more modern. The restrooms are always clean, too.“
“For those unfamiliar with this place, you definitely don't want to pass up the chance to try their amazing cuisine. Ordering online through Doordash or Ubereats is a breeze. It's worth mentioning that they have spent over five years perfecting their dishes, resulting in an unbeatable level of food quality.A place where you can get your best food if you're new to here. They offer online orders at Doordash or Ubereat. You guys should notice they had been working for more than 5 years so their food quality was better.“
“Double Dragon gets 5 stars for best Chinese food ! This is why everyone in all of the Palos's orders from them ! Consistently good every time we order and VERY quick delivery ! I wouldn't dream of ordering from anywhere else . Egg rolls are delicious ! Try the combo fried rice , it's delicious , but honestly , every dish is good. Very fresh ingredients . Highly recommend“
“Like this Mo's a lot. We are used to going to the Mo's in the strip mall on 159th Street (that's #1 we guess), but they are redoing the inside and only open for carry out. So off we went to Mo's #2 and we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is much bigger than the 159th Street location, furnishings seems so new in the place, everything was clean, and the lions share of the business seemed take out since most of the seating was open. Some other reviews complain that there is only one waiter ... and that is all we saw also ... but since we came on a night without too many tableside diners, we had no problem with the service. There are usually two other people working the front where all the takeout action happens. Food is good and ambiance is nice. Don't know how the takeout is, since we have only eaten inside. This Mo's may be our go-to in the future. Try this out for Chinese ...“
“I don't want to lie. Their food was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The egg Foo Young was slightly spoiled bean sprouts were not fluid fresh more like celery sitting out month. Yuck. Who told them they can cook. Ooh yea and you can forget about coming back cause I got that secret nobody says on Chinese channels about the five spices. Thanks for dropping my money off for some food from trash.“
“I love this place! My family has been ordering here for years and their Shrimp Fried Rice is our go to. This spot is my ultimate food joint when I'm stressed!I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Chinese Restaurant! Also, everyone is super nice.“
“Tried this place, because of a discount and a free item. Tried a few new items and some old favorites. Everything was fresh and tasty. Everything we got, we went larger or dinner level. It was way worth it. We have had enough for 2 dinners, each, and lunch too. The fried wonton was perfect, the vegetable egg foo young was the best we've had in a long time.Vegetarian options: Egg foo young, veggie fried rice and much more.Parking: Near Beggars and 7-11“
“Just got back home and I looked up this place .. GLAD I WENT Tasty food thanks ain’t had real Chinese in 5 years WHAT TREAT ❤️EGG ROLLS SCUMPTIOUS BEEF FRIED RICE BANGING EGG FOO YOUNG OUTSTANDING..Thank you no pics it’s in my stomach sorry ?“
“I grew up eating Gum Wah down the street … however En Lai is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurant to date! Food is always hot. The vegetables are always fresh. They have an awesome lunch special. The prices are equal to what you are getting in return and we believe they have fair prices. Today we had their general tso chicken, which is on the lunch special so it comes with rice (fried or white your choice) a can of soda and vegetable roll! The chicken is cooked to the perfect crisp, sauce on point. We also had the kung pao chicken. The sauce is spicier but too spicy. The chicken is not battered but cut thinly and is so soft and juicy. Mixing the left over sauce and vegetables which all the extra rice I have left was awesome. Super quiet insides but that how we like it :) sorry no food left to show it was too good“
“Chinese Food has gotten more expensive, that is just the times we live in. Wings has had it's ups and downs with my family, we come back, because in the vicinity they really are one of the better options. Our experience the last few times we have had no complaints, and they know we are good customers. I hope they keep up what they do, they earned this high review based on our last several take out orders. We had no complaints.“
“My favorite place to get Chinese food! I’ve tried soooo many different places and keep coming back to this location whenever I visit my dad’s place in the burbs. I live in the city now and have tried many places there as well, but wish there was a Chen’s like this near my place. The food here is fresh, high quality, filled with flavor, good texture and never fails to make me full with the portions they give. I still have leftovers for the next few days!“
