“Came in craving pho, but found something even better! The seafood soup was piping hot, super fresh, expertly seasoned, and hit the perfect level of spice. No extra toppings required.
Do not sleep on the chicken wing easily the best I’ve had in ages. The server promised me I wouldn't need hot sauce because of the seasoning, and she wasn't lying. Absolutely delicious.“

“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

“Some of the best Chinese food in the South Suburbs. Prices are comparable to other places. Portion sizes are good. Only small complaint is sometimes their inconsistent with how they prepare something. For example the broccoli and garlic sauce - I've had it before where the sauce is very thick and the broccoli broccoli was a little mushy but for the most part they always get it right. I pretty much always order it through a delivery app and the food still comes hot. Egg rolls are good and crisp. Sesame chicken is nice, slight sweetness with a little heat. Fried rice is flavorful.“

“I ordered a small veggie fried rice. It was good but the container is SUPER small and the price is a bit high $10.50. I know groceries prices are outrageous but rice, 🥕 and 🍄 are still pretty cheap. Green peppers are on the expensive side if not on sale but there wasn't enough peppers to justify the cost. Thats my opinion.“

“This was my very first time trying this Chinese place out. Because I'm always looking for a good Chinese restaurant and I want to stick to one place. I think I found it! Baby when I tell you they dinner and lunch plates are enormous you can eat on it for couple of days! I was blown away how fresh and delicious it tasted no disappointment. “We went there for lunch and they have many specials till 3:00 pm under $11. It comes with a large stuffed egg roll it was very good.
I had the chicken chop suey with fried rice nice size portion(enough for 2 meals) and a fortune cookie. The food is Delicious and very reasonably priced with good service!! This was my 2nd time there and will definitely be going back again.“

“We have been looking for a decent place for Chinese food where you can actually sit down and enjoy your food. The staff were all friendly. Decent menu to choose from. Food came out quickly and was good. We had the vegetable soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli, and the Mongolian beef. My drink was good, but it didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it. They also have tea when you come in. I placed an order to go and told them to make it spicy, but apparently, they missed that part, still a decent place, and we will definitely come back again.“

“I ordered a small combination rice and fried shrimp picked it up, left realized the rice was right, the shrimp was wrong. They gave me shrimp Fried Rice. No fried shrimp.They need to understand people up there Better otherwise than that the food was good“

For decades this cozy spot has been turning out all your favorite dishes in huge servings and at the best prices in the 3 village area. Our food was fantastic. I can truly say that we enjoyed our dinner.

“I came here with my friend after not coming here in a few years. We sat inside to eat the waiter was so sweet and gave us free water bottles. And the customer service was lovely. I order sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, two egg rolls and two smoothies. My total was barely $40!! Portions were great I had enough for me and my friends. And I still had left overs! The food was so fresh I almost burned my mouth. I think this is a little gem and more people need to come and try it.“

I had to pick the chicken and beef out of my fried rice while eating it. Other than that everything was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. “Walking in, it feels like you have stepped back into 2020, in the worst way. They still run the business with plastic blocking the staff from the customers, and it’s a bit unsettling. Otherwise, the food is usually pretty good. The staff is relatively friendly, but they seem to be a big hurry most of the time. I know being in the restaurant industry is busy and stressful, but they should slow down their customer interactions to not make their guests feel rushed.“

“Sun Sun had good food. It is authentic ma and pop Chinese food. They have average prices. I usually good during lunch to get the lunch specials. The egg food young is really good. They also have pretty good egg rolls.

Parking: Parking is plentiful. Sun Sun is located in strip mall.“
