“This place is the whole package! From the second you step onto the property to walking in and the hostess immediately greeting you with a smile. Check in is seamless and reservations are withheld to the tea (no waiting). As you walk through the inside, everyone greets you. Celebrating a special occasion? Note it on your reservation and they have cute cards on the table wishing you the best. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are prepared phenomenally and waitstaff bring them as they are done. Appetizers? Mozzarella sticks are cheese pull galore, mini meatballs are beyond with the crostinis, and let's just say you can't go wrong with the margarita pizza. Entrees that stand out have been the lasagna, chicken limone, chicken parmesan and pasta with vodka sauce (don't forget to add a protein). Additionally, there's a kids menu and it is truly kid friendly. Don't skip dessert! Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the crème brûlée with a shot of espresso on the side. Only downside of this place is not knowing when we have something special to celebrate again so we can go back, maybe to even dine outside!”

“Great staff and really good food. What really stuck with me, though, was the owner’s generosity — he donated to a benefit we held for my friend last year, and I wasn’t even a regular at the time. That kind of support, especially from a business that had only been open a year and a half, says a lot. Total class act. You’ve definitely earned a loyal customer.”

“I come from an Italian family so love the food, but put Gatto’s up there as one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to!!! I had the chicken Milano and my partner had the carbonara and both were fabulous!! Great job on the meal, our waiter was amazing, he remembered all our drinks which were also delicious, and the whole night was a great one! Wish we didn’t live so far away or we would partake in your restaurant weekly!!!”

“Had a wonderful lunch for a monthly retired teacher group. Joe and Vicki gave us the room in the back. Our meals were fantastic and Paige, our server, was wonderful! We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were treated to several amazing desserts. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We booked our Christmas party here in December.”

“We hosted a baptism luncheon for about 30 people on the second floor. Our servers were very professional, the service was great, and the food was good! Mary Ann, the Event Manager, was very kind and professional and helpful! The room is very cute with a historic charm. We would definitely recommend hosting your event with the Vogt House/Banging Gavel!”

“If ever there was a place which resonates the Billy Joel song “Scenes from an Italian restaurant “ This place is IT! Visited for the first time on 2/14/26. The aroma as we entered was so inviting. Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The bomba ice cream was scrumptious! Cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant!! 🇮🇹”

“We were a pretty large group with tons of kids under 5. Everyone was so kind to us and our kiddos. The food was delish as were the drinks! We had a minor hiccup with in the group and management was MORE THAN gracious and kind in fixing / making up for it.”

“Tandoori Indian Food Was Fantastic And Outstanding. I went for the first time with a Girlfriend. I Enjoyed My Curry Chicken with Basmati Rice. The Owner Was Very Friendly And Accommodating. Please forgive me for accidentally hitting a 1 star. I meant to give Tandoori A 5 Star Rating. I will Recommend Tandoori To My Family and Friends. I Will Definitely Be Returning, For The Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, And A Salad.”

“I would recommend JoJo Asian Bistro if you want to try their amazing dishes! I would recommend the Stone Bowl Rice dishes, it is truly delicious!

Everything was very clean. Julia our bartender was just awesome. She was just a blur behind the bar. She kept everything neat and organized all the while creating a great dining experience. “This Korean fried chicken is AMAZING! We ordered drumsticks in 2 different flavors, soy garlic and Korean bbq. Bao buns with fried chicken were spectacular! The kids LOVED the plain drumsticks, boneless wings, fries, rice, and Korean donuts! We were all really impressed. The price is a little high, but the quality and freshness of the meal shows! Care was put into making and packing the food. Can't wait to return to try some of the other yummy things on their menu! I really hope they do well in Tinley. We definitely need some good fried chicken places!”

“I haven't eaten here since the relocation from Calunet City. I went last night and the food tasted just the same. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. The staff was friendly. my waitress was knowledgeable, and engaging. This was the best birthday dinner I've had in awhile. I will be back soon.”

“To be completely honest, I thought this was a little coffee shop based on how it looked. I was working in the area and stopped by since I normally avoid big chain coffee shops like Starbucks. Little did I know, it ended up being a little gaming place haha.Nevertheless, the employee was extremely accommodating and served me coffee on the house. I felt bad for not playing, so I insisted that I'd pay for a small pizza at least. I was the only one in the morning until 3 people came in to play around 9am. Thankfully none of the slots were loud enough to be distracting and the music/lounge area was more than sufficient to sit down and get some work done. Interesting concept but everything is pretty affordable including beer so I may come back again. Only downside was that a lot of the food menu items were not available.”

“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!”

“I had a great experience at Crumbl Cookies! From the moment I walked in, the store was clean, welcoming, and smelled amazing. The staff were friendly and helped me choose from their weekly rotating flavors, which made the visit even more fun.

The cookies themselves were incredible—fresh, soft, and full of flavor. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into both the taste and presentation. I especially liked how each cookie is unique, and there’s always something new to try each week.”

“If you want a GREAT burger Happy Bites is the place to go. They have a variety of flavors and options for a truly unique burger. Always cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You don't need to go to BWW for great wings. They have bone-in and boneless options, and amazing sauces. Their delivery service is great. Food arrives hot and fresh and fast!”

“I grew up in Tinley Park and the Olympic Star has been a staple in our city forever. I'm now out of state but every time we're back in the Chicago area we go to the Star. Everything is phenomenal in this restaurant and the Chicken Soup is to die for, it's so good we went home with 3 qts of it to take it home out-of-state”

“I have been trying to find a good gyro place since Alexander's on southwest highway closed. Most of the places sell something that looks like it came from Sam's Club family pack gyros kit. Mickey's is one of the best places I have come across in my travels throughout the U.S.”

My order was ready in about 5 minutes. The Food Was Fresh, hot and and very Good! Although a bit pricey, I was overall pleased.”

“Their pizza is delicious. My family loves pizza. We have tried many is the surrounding area and nothing compares to Guardi's. It has become a staple for take out in my house. Their service is great (I have never arrived and had to wait for my order) and the employees have always been extremely friendly and sufficient. It's worth giving them a try.”

“Went for the first time last week. Got there while waiting for a friend. Word of mouth got me to the Cottage, and I was very impressed. The owner was a very friendly woman that was very knowledgeable about the bar itself, and I could tell she was very proud of her hard work and business.
The tap beer was fantastic, and I could tell the lines were clean because the beer was so fresh. We both had Reubens and they were how a Reuben should taste.

“A nice little eat-in and take out place. Family owned and operated. Food quality has always been fresh, but sometimes flavors may change up a little due to who might be cooking. The quantity to price ratio is very fair to above for most Chinese restaurants. The restaurant has a small gaming longe area primarily located on the takeout side of the restaurant with a low wall separating the dining area, which has a few booths and a couple of tables. The food has always been quite good and tasty, Imaged is the House Special Chow Fun, Sesame Chicken (always a fav), and BBQ Pork Kow (had a lot of meat, just not pictured well). We've been going here for a couple of years now, eating in and getting to go. Parking is available, but it is shared in a strip mall. Handicap and senior friendly as well.”
