“Ordered catering from Darla’s this weekend for my college graduation party. Went in a few weeks prior to try the sandwiches since I had never had them before and the staff was super nice, even gave me free samples of their salads to try along with my sandwich orders. Since the sandwiches were so good, we decided to go with them for our party. Our order was on time and exactly as we’d asked. They also provided us with mustard and mayo packets and “The Goods” on the side in convenient serving packages. The pricing is also extremely competitive. They are much cheaper than popular chain sandwich places’ catering options which shocked me since it is a small local business. We will definitely be considering them again in the future for events, and may even stop in a few times just for lunch. Thanks Darla’s!“

“We need a good sandwich & soup place that doesn't cost a fortune and this is it. Had the California Club very good, very fresh. My daughter had tuna one of the best tuna salads around. Soup was good, fries were crispy, and the lemon cake was awesome. Will definitely go back and try even more things, and the sandwiches are plenty big! They originally forgot my lemon cake in my order, and they delivered it to me for free, so I love how they take care of things.“
“Great restaurant, my boyfriend and I always visit at least once a week. The staff is super kind, and gets to know their frequent visitors. They are never afraid to strike up a conversation with customers- new or old. Extremely friendly staff. In particular, there's an aunt and niece who I see every time that make our experience awesome. They keep the store very neat and orderly. I have never had a bad sandwich here. They fill it to the brink of explosion every time, and take their time properly layering every ingredient. I don't understand the bad reviews I've read at all, it is an incredible business with incredible staff. Thank you!!“
“Clean place with great service. Even when it is crowed, the staff moves the line quickly. The clerks are always sure to ask for your rewards number and let you know if you have anything to redeem. The sandwiches are well prepared and the bread is always fresh.“
“They are consistent at this location and friendly. The only problem is they are really not freaky fast with deliveries. The last 3 times I have ordered from there it took about an hour to get a sandwich. When you order on the app it doesn’t give you an ETA but it is really disappointing mainly because I order from there at times when I am on a short time frame.“
“Sandwich was amazing, soup was very hot. Had to wait on my meal even though I ordered ahead of time. But the Italian sandwich was good. My soup was hot but didn't have the extra cheese or bacon as requested. Overall it is a very clean store, but I enjoyed my meal.“

“I am in no means an expert on Chicago Italian beef sandwiches. Stopped in on a cross country road trip. Wow,the sandwiches were great! Grab plenty of napkins and dig in. Mine had provolone and hot gardeneira,really kickin' sandwich. Can't wait to get back!Parking: Park out front and eat inside. Not the kind of sandwich for the car.“
