Amazing chicken! I got the nashville chicken sandwhich and it was so fresh and full of flavor. Im not the biggest cole slaw fan but it was good on the sandwich. The heat levels are seriously hot and I am here for it, if you don't have a higher tolerance then the crazy heat is literally crazy, I have no idea how they get it so strong. The messy fries are also really good but I would get extra pickles next time.
FINALLY... a restaurant that DOES NOT fry in any kind of vegetable oil!! Nope, they fry in 100% beef tallow... as everyone should!I try very hard to not consume any type of vegetable or seed oil as these are the worse a human can put in their body. This makes dinning out extremely difficult, as this is what the industry opts for... mostly to increase the bottom line. But not Fry the Coop, no!! Really like this joint! Be careful on the heat level you choose cause anything past medium isn't for the faint of heart. Food cooked fresh to order (which is what I expect and adore), good beers, good customer service. Should make tender Tuesday permanent, at least for 1 Tuesday a month. Keep frying that coop baby!
