“Service was excellent mac and cheese was a little bland for me i chickened out and got a medium on the spice chart and it wasn't hot at all Other than that I like this place I'll definitely go back and swap the Mac for some coleslaw.“
“Servers were very welcoming and checked in periodically during my visit. I ordered the 2+2+2+2, with the stuffed French toast. The texture of the eggs were creamy, cooked just right. Sausage and bacon were tasty. The stuffed frent toast was delicious and needed no syrup. Presentation of the food was perfect. I'll be back again for sure!“

“Update:I was able to order via UberEats. The food was delicious! I ordered catfish (fried) and mac n cheese, rice and beans, and greens. The catfish was huge and filling. The mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy. The rice and beans could have had more rice, but it was good. I will visit again.This review is based off of ordering experience, as I have not been able to try their food. Tried to order on their website Chow Now. Put my credit card info in and the screen goes gray after I click submit. Refreshed the screen, re-entered my credit card and the same thing happens. Ugh, tried to call to see if the order went through and no one answered. It doesn’t appear to have charged my card but it’s unfortunate that this is my first experience trying to place an order. “Absolutely the best French toast I've ever had. I brought my kids today as a treat and they loved everything. Marcia was wonderful, so friendly and attentive! Overall the staff seems happy to be there and proud of the reputation, feels like a very happy place. It's clearly a beloved restaurant, it's always busy - but in a perfectly balanced way. I'd definitely recommend trying it out! Next time I'm planning on trying one of the specials - lots of fish and shrimp options, everything sounds incredible.“

“Really like this joint! Be careful on the heat level you choose cause anything past medium isn't for the faint of heart. Food cooked fresh to order (which is what I expect and adore), good beers, good customer service. Should make tender Tuesday permanent, at least for 1 Tuesday a month. Keep frying that coop baby!“
