“I have been coming here for years and Ruma Izakaya remains my favorite Japanese spot in the area. From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! Thank you for great service and even better food! 12/10 recommend😊“

“A nice little eat-in and take out place. Family owned and operated. Food quality has always been fresh, but sometimes flavors may change up a little due to who might be cooking. The quantity to price ratio is very fair to above for most Chinese restaurants. The restaurant has a small gaming longe area primarily located on the takeout side of the restaurant with a low wall separating the dining area, which has a few booths and a couple of tables. The food has always been quite good and tasty, Imaged is the House Special Chow Fun, Sesame Chicken (always a fav), and BBQ Pork Kow (had a lot of meat, just not pictured well). We've been going here for a couple of years now, eating in and getting to go. Parking is available, but it is shared in a strip mall. Handicap and senior friendly as well.“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! “On 4/1/2026 i visited Sakura, i quickly found out it is a HIDDEN GEM! I had the hibachi combnation noodles and for $17.89 you get A MEAL they cooked the steak,chicken and shrimp to perfection! Full of zuccini, carrots mushrooms and seasoned& sauced perfectly. They just got themselves a lifetime customer!!!“

“Came here for my birthday expecting a traditional hibachi experience. One thing to note is that the hibachi is not cooked in front of you, which was surprising and not clearly communicated beforehand.

That said, the food itself was excellent. The quality was high, everything was flavorful, and the portions were solid.

The main disconnect was just the expectation vs. experience. If you’re coming specifically for the classic hibachi show and tableside cooking, this isn’t that. But if you’re simply looking for good-quality food, it definitely delivers.

Overall, I’d recommend being aware of the format going in — great food, just not a traditional hibachi experience.“

“Food is fresh and excellent. I find it to be one of the best in the area. Non greasy, good flavor, service is ok, but when they attend to you, you have their undivided attention. I have been there a few times, and it does not vary. It is also very clean, with large tables and booths.“
