“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

“This is an excellent donut shop. But they also have so many other treats, but ordered only donuts, a pecan roll and an apple fritter.

All items had ample ingredients and was fresh and some of the best baked goods in the metro area.

You brought me trust issues with every other dessert. Imagine the love child of a Samoa Girl Scout cookie and a cloud. The caramel? Aggressive in the best possible way. The coconut? Perfectly toasted like it knew it had something to prove. The chocolate? Just enough to remind you that life can still surprise you in beautiful ways. And the dough itself? So soft it felt illegal.
