“This restaurant is really good. It was cool being able to choose the food off the conveyer belt. The food was delicious. The shrimp tempura was really good. The crab Rangoon was great. The shrimp fried rice was delicious. For dessert, the mini cheesecakes were awesome. My only complaint is that I never got my fried calamari. But no biggie. I will definitely be back here.“
“I love the new location; the atmosphere is very bright and cheerful. The staff take pride in keeping the restaurant clean and tidy. My 4 year old is a huge fan and I appreciate that they always have her favorites and there's never a wait time to get anything out.“
“This is regarding store number 3608 in Lombard. The food was up to its usual standards which is very good. Their new drive-through was a little confusing but I'm willing to guess they're going to put up more signs because it was recently finished. The prices were good. I don't know who controls the online ordering but it would be nice to see the entire menu available not just select items.“
“Update 4/7/24It’s been like a year since I was last here but we decided to give it a try again. We came here for a late lunch. It’s located in a small outlet, so parking can be limited since it’s shared. They do have some places to sit and eat but it’s limited especially during peak hours. When we came in, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. I believe it’s family owned and the owners are very nice and attentive. They have one gender neutral bathroom.We ordered stir fried lamb with onions, sweet and sour pork with pineapple, and shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings. Portion sizes are very generous and prices are reasonable.-stir fried lamb with onions 5 - lamb meat is very tender, requires very little chewing.-sweet and sour pork with pineapple 5 - most Americanized Chinese places, the pork would be soggy, but here the skin is very crispy. Pork inside is succulent.-shrimp, chive, and egg dumplings 5 - I really liked how they listened to my feedback from last time and added more moisture inside. They were definitely juicier and tastier than before. Skin is thin, good sized dumplings, and flavorful.Rating is 4No, the owners have not changed. I recommend getting dishes that are not the typical Americanized Chinese dishes like mongolian beef. Try something new and different.Dumplings I would give 4/5. I’ve tried several different kinds but they could be juicier. They have good flavor, just a little dry. I’ve tried shrimp, chive, and egg, beef onion, lamb carrot, and chicken and cabbage mushroom.Scallion pancake was too dry for me. It could use more flavor.Quick fried sauteed intestines were very tasty. I really like this dish.Shredded pork dishes were good. Spicy is really spicy. Shredded pork is not dry, is moist and just a little chew.Portions are generous. Service is good, they take care of their customers. Prices are fair for all the food you’re getting.“
“Amazing food. I eat here whenever I'm in the western suburbs. The soup dumplings are very good and highly recommended. I also recommend the stir fried pancakes which aren't really pancakes at all but a type of noodle. They do taste somewhat like pancakes though.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options including pan fried noodles with veggies and vegetable side dishes.Parking: There is plenty of parking“
“Visiting J’s was a delightful experience ! The food was bursting with flavor and made with care. They owners are not Muslim but everything they serve is completely Halal, it's wonderful to support such a welcoming and inclusive place. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Don't miss out on trying their Sichuan Wontons in spicy broth… it was so good that we even took two orders to go with us“
“Probably the best Chow Fun I’ve had a in a long time. I had some last week and today I had to get some more. So good. Paired this with a mango smoothie. The Chow Fun I requested to be extra spicy with shrimp. Don’t miss this place. The fried rice is amazing as well. It’s as if they grill the rice or something. There’s a little char on it at times that makes it so addictive and delicious. Beware, one visit will not be enough. So darn good.“
