“Unbelievable. My son and I had tried all of their popular items. First, the Beef Noodle Soup, to die for. The flavors and rich and balanced and the best soup ive ever had and I look for the best ramen, pho, noodle soups, and etc... the soup dumplings incredible and the perfect size. The grandma's fried rice is delightful, and worth it. The Cheng Du dumplings were good but I would skip them for the rest of the dishes listed here, and the Dan Dan Noodles unfortunately didnt have any flavor and wouldn't get those again. All in all, this place beat the expectations. Thank you for the great food!“

Ordered a bunch of gluten free food as my wife has celiac and we couldn't believe the quality - you would never know it's not gluten! “It seems like this restaurant may be under new management, and my experience was a bit mixed. 🤔 The food was decent and tasted fine, but the portions felt smaller than expected considering the prices. 🍽💸 Unfortunately, the service was the biggest disappointment. Our server didn't seem very welcoming and appeared annoyed whenever we asked questions about the menu, which made the experience less enjoyable. 😕 With so many great Asian restaurants in the Naperville area, I'd probably choose one of those before coming back. The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. “Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. We ordered the stinky tofu, tofu is very flavorful. The veggie pot is so delicious that I saw from someone else sitting there and I could not help but to ask the name of the dish.“
