Great food. Friendly new owner
Lucky Star is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! The ingredients are always fresh and never tastes too salty. My Dr said I needed to eat lots of Broccoli so I get Roast Pork and Broccoli every week for my liver, which has helped so much over the past year. Joy and her family are wonderful and always welcoming.
We love taking company there or getting take-out for our family gatherings.
I highly recommend Lucky Star and encourage everyone to please support this local...read full review
Every time I eat there the food is excellent! I love the fact they will go above and beyond to make your dish as you would like it. Best place in town for Chinese food!

Lucky Star Chinese Restaurant offers a variety of Chinese dishes, including egg foo young and BBQ pork, which are hard to find elsewhere. The restaurant is strictly take-out, but the food is consistently delicious and worth the moderate prices. Although the front area is small, the take-out service is reliable, with accurate orders even for picky eaters. Many customers have enjoyed the friendly service and quality food, with some driving long distances to get their favorites like egg drop soup and pork fried rice. The restaurant is family owned and has been a favorite for those wanting to support local Chinese food. Recently, the new owners have slightly modified the recipes and deep cleaned everything, using fresh peanut-flavored oil for the eggrolls. Customers praise the tender Mongolian Beef combo dinner and the egg rolls, calling them some of the best they’ve ever had. The food is fresh and made with quality ingredients, and the service is quick. While it is carry-out only and lacks much atmosphere, visitors appreciate the good vibes and the chance to enjoy great Asian food in the suburbs. The restaurant does not have social media pages, and the phone system can sometimes be unreliable with long wait times and disconnections. Despite these minor issues, many find Lucky Star Chinese Restaurant a reliable spot for tasty Chinese dishes.
