“Cantigny is a beautiful and expansive park in Wheaton, which includes a very nice golf course, with a pro shop and a clubhouse restaurant called the Red Oak Room. The only time I have visited this establishment was for my niece's wedding reception two years ago. The private banquet/event space and the grounds around it are stunning. But the food and service was even better. I think it was the best wedding reception I've ever been to. With around 150 people, the space was laid out with room to spare so it felt luxurious and not at all cramped. There was a bar with excellent bartenders, room for the dance floor to remain empty so no tables had to be removed after dinner. And the food! Guests had a choice from 3 entrees - filet mignon, salmon and chicken. Not easy to offer 3 different meals and get them all done perfectly. Both a soup course and salad were served (after the cocktail hour which had a variety of tray-passed hors d'oeuvres). The filet was at least 7 ozs of pure perfection with accompanying potato and veg. Champagne was poured for a toast and a choice of red or white wine was served throughout dinner. A wonderful dessert buffet was served in addition to the wedding cake. The service was also perfection capped off with coffee service with really delicious coffee. The wait staff was very pleasant and professional and made sure the dining experience was stellar for each and every guest. A great DJ had the crowd dancing for hours and later in the night, more food - Chicago pizza and Italian beef sandwiches with all the fixings for anyone who wasn't still stuffed from dinner and served with to go boxes to take some with you if you were still too full. It was a very nice venue with wonderful food and service - it was perfect in every way!“

“Our server and all the people that work there were awesome. CIindy was great. We were seated early, which was nice. They did not mention that it was a problem that one of our five wasn't able to show. I do say that the sound was very loud, and we were lucky enough to be seated away from the main seating area. Which was very congested. But we were not rushed. We were actually encouraged to take our time. It was a birthday for two of the people with us, which they brought out small treat at the end of the dinner. There was a surprise 20% off on house bottles of wine. Overall, it was a very good experience, but I would definitely ask for that hallway off the side to help lessen the congestion and the noise. We're looking forward to going in the summer and sitting outside on the roof, which is just fantastic.“

“First time here. The menu is very large and has so many delicious options. My husband and I each had a different Panini and they were both amazing. We absolutely loved the chicken noodle soup! We had great service and will most definitely be making our way back even though we don’t live close it’s definitely worth the trip.“

“Five of us dined at the burger, social in early March. A nice restaurant nicely appointed. Food was excellent, burgers were great, prices were reasonable! Only one issue to be aware of: Like a lot of other restaurants, Burger Social uses a third-party app to make reservations. I find in general that these apps are not very patron friendly so be careful. I made a reservation specifically for the first floor at a certain time and they tried to put us upstairs in a much less desirable location because our table was still occupied when we got there. I told the hostess that I would wait for our 6:30 reservation. At 7 o'clock, the people at the table had still not left and I was getting a little unhappy as Burger Social has a strict 1 1/2 hour time limit per party and they were on their second hour. Finally at about 7:15 the manager walked up and asked the folks to pack up and leave, that they were over their time limit which they did. Wish they would've done that about a half an hour or so earlier. Don't really like standing in the middle of the restaurant for 45 minutes with five people waiting for a table to get emptied out.“

“Overall was a good experience. The hostess found us a nice table in the corner as one of our guests was hard of hearing. Michael was our server and though he was nice when he stopped by, he was not as attentive as I would have hoped. He was notably busy. He did not get a refill on my wine though I asked him twice for it.“

The order was ready for pickup on time. and stayed hot while we drove home, about 20 mins. These meats were sooooo tender (which is high on my for good BBQ) and tasty. My partner liked his sides too, and the sweet potato fries were also pretty good. We both agreed that we want to come back when we're ready for BBQ again. 5 amazing stars for the meats. 4 stars for the sides.“

“We had our daughter's bridal shower here, and I can't say enough good things about Olivia and her team. Olivia listened, really listened, to my vision for the shower and made sure the day went just like we had hoped. It was perfect! We were in the Clocktower Room which felt so comfortable and inviting. It was beautiful overlooking the golf course, and we loved having the little balcony to hang out in too. The food was delicious and several people commented on how good everything was. The servers were so attentive and helpful throughout the entire time. The whole day couldn't have gone any better and it's absolutely due to the Arrowheard staff. “Ordered two "build your own" pizzas, a side salad, and garlic bread for takeout. Reasonably priced & delicious! The pizza itself was very light & tasty. We expected the garlic bread to be more like garlic knots, but they were honestly just bread chunks with slight garlic flavor (but still delicious, i mean all bread is delicious) Food was ready promptly at pickup time!“
