“Food and service fantastic. They were running behind with reservations but they comped us drinks an an appetizer...which is pretty unheard of these days. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

“I have been coming here for years and would have recommended it until tonight. I walked in and was told that they are too busy to take my order!! WTF!?!? Isn't that a good problem to have? Suck it up, that is part of the business!! I have never in all my life been turned away from a restaurant for such a stupid reason. They didn't even know what I was going to order, which was only a gyro and only taken a couple minutes to make. Not very professional, nor a good way to treat a customer....“

“The oder placed was completed in a timley fashion was hot and delicious as always. Our experience at this Glen Ellyn location was further enhanced by our interaction with Al. He was extremely personable, attentive and was just somone that made it a great visit. Al is a great face / personality to represent Bouna Beef. As dining out has many options, it is someone like Al that makes the decision easier. Bouna, speaking from the prospective of a former consumer of the the other beef place, starts with a P, Bouna is hands down the best beef, best service, best service individuals in the whole of Chicago area. Al, exemplifies what Bouna is, awesome.“

“Recently celebrated a 70th birthday with the D'Alexander family. What a great event. The staff could not have been nicer, and attentive. You only thought you might need something at the table and it would appear out of no where. The food was all home made and you could tell made from traditional old recipes and a lot of love thrown in. You feel like you are in a small cafe in Italy. If you want a great Italian dining experience please take the time to enjoy Made In Italy, because my wife and I plan to go back.“

“From the sec9nd you walk in the door it screams fun! A warm greeting accompanied by the sound of the Choo-Choo train that delivers your food makes for a fun & friendly ambience. Server was prompt in taking drink & food order & the wait was not long at all. Watching my order come along on the train which encircles the dining area was such fun! Very clean dining area & restrooms...parking was a little confusing but ample & free. My BLT was served with thick cut bacon & French fries done to perfection! I enjoyed watching the children become enthralled with the experience! They will sing happy birthday for you & the Choo-Choo makes a special sweet delivery for you as well. This is a definite must and there's a very nice park in the area if you need to walk off your milkshake!“

The booths are super comfortable with lighting that’s not harsh but is still bright enough to see what’s on your table. The service was amazing; our server was friendly, genuine, and accommodating. The thin crust pizza is delicious. The Salvador specialty pizza is unique and one of my faves. All of these details and more come together to make this an exceptional restaurant to dine in.“

Put in a order for delivery online and the food arrived in a timely manner still hot and ready so we all dug in immediately. It was amazing.
