“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “It's such a beautiful setting at The Waterleaf at the College of DuPage Culinary & Hospitality Center. From the bread through the salad, the entree & ending w/ dessert everything is done w/care & is tasty. The service is paced so as not to hurry the diners. But if something is needed the staff is right there to help. It's obvious that the students want to optimize the dining experience. I regret not being able to go more often to try the other entree or salad. Everything is done well. A great place to dine.“
“Most in our group had a wonderful meal...chicken sandwiches, and tuna poke bowl. Also flatbread appetizer and brownie dessert were wonderful. However my quinoa burger was not very good. First of all it fell apart when, after cutting in half, I tried to pick it up. And just not much flavor. Was disappointed in that. Other issue was that most everyone had a taste for pasta, and mac and cheese was the only pasta option.“
“Waitress stands around talking to other employee. You wave at her to come over and she stands and stares at you. You actually had to tell her to come over to table. Never came back to ask how it was. Told her we want nothing else just the bill. Waited and had to ask for bill again. Not impressed.“
“Cauliflower app was amazing. Burgers are generous. Premium ingredients. Service outstanding. Atmosphere is great but seating is not comfortable. Chairs felt not stable. High top. I had a sincere senior and the next 2 tables had the same. Might sound crazy but I felt stressed because I thought one of them was bound to fall. ( getting on or off their chair)“
