“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

Couldn’t get refills on my water. The waitress disappeared till it was check time and then she came over. It was very busy though.“

Recently had the Wednesday special Chicken and broccoli which was fabulous! Waitresses always nice and patient as we catch up. “Samantha was our server. We came to Season 52 a few weeks ago and had Samantha. Now we ask for her by name. She is amazing! The food is excellent! Cooked to perfection! So thank yaccess. We usually get an appetizer, dinner, and dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink. It is a little pricey ($50-$70/pp depending on what you order) but worth every penny! They have mini desserts so even if you are full you could manage to have a little something sweet at the end! You won't be disappointed!!!“

“Inexpensive home cooked to order- delish biscuits and gravy says my husband, my eggs cooked just right (I like lightly basted - yolks runny whites hard), the off the bone ham, grilled and just so tasty, pancakes are a bit fall apart, but the home cooked taste is just right.. extra hot water for my tea before I asked... “I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “Rosies moved to their new location and changed menu items. I use to go for the sausage gravy, but would you know they changed the sausage gravy and biscuits!!! It's not as good as before at all. The sausage were cut into tiny pieces instead of crumbled sausage. The biscuits were to big for the little gravy given. It was good while it lasted!!!!“

Great food for reasonable prices, fantastic staff and customer service, and the music is what I come for. I am 70 and find people my age and older, tearing up the rug. Yeah, lots of fun, and comaraderie with those of us senior citizens, that don't act like it, and will enjoy ourselves as much as the band allows.
