50 Best American Restaurants near Winfield

“Great food! Great service! The veggie skillet was the best I've ever had. Loaded with fresh veggies and cooked perfect. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Everything had a fresh taste like I made it in my own kitchen. Five star establishment!“

“Marvelous play to come and play. On weekends, live entertainment, with lots of great bands, doing many oldies and nostalgic songs! Great food for reasonable prices, fantastic staff and customer service, and the music is what I come for. I am 70 and find people my age and older, tearing up the rug. Yeah, lots of fun, and comaraderie with those of us senior citizens, that don't act like it, and will enjoy ourselves as much as the band allows. You won't be disappointed with the atmosphere, the music, the customer service, or anything really! Cmon down and see for yourself!“

“The establishment is now called Angeli's. This restaurant is located right in the heart of a beautiful golf course, I wish we had planned to eat outdoot. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating to us, adding vegetables at no charge since we are vegetarians. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the vodka sauce was creamy and dreamy.“

“We came in last night for the first time since the disappointment we experienced there last year, and WOW!!! I wish I could make this a post all its own - the food was fabulous, the wait staff were great...we were blown away. We are so excited that YOU ARE BACK!!! Best it's been since Kelly et al were here. I can see us coming in regularly and will be sharing with the neighborhood and all our local friends. The patio was wonderful, and even the music over the speakers was great! Yayyyy!!! You've hit a homerun!“

“Absolutely the BEST Chicken Sandwich I have ever had! I got the Fried Chicken Club Sandwich, and it was fantastic! We live 2 hours South, and will make the drive for that sandwich!!“

“We happened across this gem of a restaurant this past week. Menu is quite large with a wonderful assortment if items. I had the 2 by 2 by 2 by 2. Two eggs served hot and prepared as requested, with.two sausages , 2 slices of bacon and 2 huge pancakes. Way more than I could eat but pancakes were delicious leftover. Breakfast specials 7-11am M-F will be tried on our next visit. Very spacious and clean with friendly service.“

“it was amazing I highly recommend it I would love to go back there especially Dareale she was a amazing waitress I love to go back there and her friends are amazing as well“

“After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“La mejor comida de todo lombard 🙂✌️“

“The food was delicious! The drinks are fresh and new, and very well balanced. The best part of our experience was the staff! Each member was knowledgeable of the drink and dinner menu and made incredible recommendations. Overall, a wonderful evening out.“

“Went last night reserved a party of 6 but another friend showed up and Anthony the owner accommodated us. We ordered half the menu including the star of the show being the tomahawk steak. We shared all items buffet style sampling all dishes. Everything was excellent and everyone in the party was thoroughly impressed!“

“My sister and I each live about 40 mins from a Cracker Barrell and meet there about every three months to catch up. Love the food! Recently had the Wednesday special Chicken and broccoli which was fabulous! Waitresses always nice and patient as we catch up. And when we’re done eating there are always purchases to be made in the store, so much to look at!! It’s always a good afternoon. Thanks Cracker Barrel!“

“The food is amazing but the service is top notch! I went here recently with my mom who needed accommodations due to recent surgeries and they went above and beyond making her feel welcome even when she wasn't quite confident dining out yet. They were SO accommodating with the menu and made us feel right at home. The hostess was so sweet; we were so appreciative! & the food was delicious! I loved my chicken kebabs and we both loved the lemon chicken soup! Plus the lunch specials are huge portions at such a fair price! We will definitely be returning!“

“Just a shout out to the BEST waitress at the Naperville location, AUTUMN! Every time we come in, we hope we get seated in her section. Autumn’s energy is awesome! She never rushes us during our friend catch up time. She is so attentive without hovering and just a great person all around! Naper location is lucky 🍀 to have her on their team! Thanks for taking good care of us everyone we come in, Autumn! 🫶💯“

“Inexpensive home cooked to order- delish biscuits and gravy says my husband, my eggs cooked just right (I like lightly basted - yolks runny whites hard), the off the bone ham, grilled and just so tasty, pancakes are a bit fall apart, but the home cooked taste is just right.. extra hot water for my tea before I asked... Great job! We’ll def be back!!!“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. Highly recommended!“

“The belmont was the perfect place for my anniversary! John made the experience feel super special. The staff were super sweet and made us feel like royalty even though we are 16. We want to thank the whole crew for making us feel so welcome even though we aren’t like the typical people who walk in. The food was incredible and the presentation was immaculate. John was the best and made sure our time there was perfect.“

“Good food with good company“

“Ellyns has awesome food and a very friendly environment. Never had something I didn’t like, and can always find something new on the menu. Great drink menu and specials. Ellyns will always be a go to!“

“The best burgers around always!“

“Our waiter in the bar area Bob did a great job with service. I've been here before but Bob was the best server we've ever had! My chicken tortilla soup was just ok yesterday. My sliced prime rib sandwich was outstanding. And Bob's recommendation on the side special vegetable was spot on💪🏼“

“We love this place, very good food and newspaper coupons are frequent. However, I’ve loved their chicken for years but something changed about 2 years ago. I think they may have switch cooking oil or something. Chicken is now bland and a little “off”“

“We ate here twice on our trip! It is a delightful place, great food, chef visits and brings food to the table, the wait staff are so lovely. It’s a perfect restaurant! Thank you (We are visiting from California)“

“Shout out to Ivy! They hosted our Baby Shower and everything turned out perfectly.“

“Good place still even though I’m seeing changes …. They’re getting stingy with their French fries portions.“

“POOR SEREVICE , NO INTEREST IN TAKING Care of customers , too many better places to go in the area , dont go“

“Rosies moved to their new location and changed menu items. I use to go for the sausage gravy, but would you know they changed the sausage gravy and biscuits!!! It's not as good as before at all. The sausage were cut into tiny pieces instead of crumbled sausage. The biscuits were to big for the little gravy given. It was good while it lasted!!!!“

“One of our top Wheaton restaurant picks!“
