“Proof No. 5 in Wheaton offers a truly unique dining experience with its inventive dishes and vibrant, sophisticated atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a culinary adventure right in downtown Wheaton.
​The menu is a fantastic blend of global influences, and we started our meal with a showstopper: the Flaming Bourbon Cheese Dip. This theatrical appetizer was rich, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Next, the Chicken Shawarma Skewers were a revelation. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, served with a zesty tahini yogurt sauce that was a great complement.

​For our main courses, the Lobster Pasta was a standout, featuring large chunks of succulent lobster in a flavorful sauce that coated every bite. We also enjoyed the Vegetarian Bibimbap, a beautiful and savory bowl packed with fresh vegetables, a perfectly cooked egg, and a spicy kick from the gochujang. We couldn't leave without trying the Chili Crisp Fries, a unique side that was crispy, spicy, and addictively good.

“The park and the staff are truly amazing. The buffet is okay. The fruits taste amazing, and are really sweet. The biscuits are a dry, but the gravy is really delicious. BUT I hate the Eggs Benedict, the 4 times I have been here, I have not had 1 good Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise isn't good at all. Whoever makes it needs to sort out their poached eggs, whilst the shape is good, the yolk isn't runny.“

I have sat in the restaurant and bar and always had the best service; never rushed to order even when it is really crowded! My favorite new hangout on a Friday/Saturday evening!“

“First time having Culver's and what I noticed the most wasn't the food, but the service. The food was good but nothing mind-blowing (except the cheese curds; those are awesome). But the people working there were super friendly and attentive; even during the dinner rush hour.

A worker that was walking outside with a drive up order held the door for me while I was walking in which I thought was nice. And then as I was trying to figure out where to get my pick up order, another worker coming in from outside stopped what he was about to do to ask me if I needed help and then got me my order.

I'm more used to Chik-Fil-A completely ignoring me while I stand there staring at my order sitting behind the counter getting cold. So it kind of took me off guard. Definitely will be coming back to this location in the future.“

Kristen and her team responded to our questions and clarified the details of the event with me, they accommodated a couple of last minute small requests and changes, plus the food was delicious. “I get it. There’s so many chain restaurants and it’s easy just to go to the familiar spots. But I really want to encourage you to try this local diner! I met a friend there today and we both enjoyed a delicious meal. He was “on the cut” so he ordered steak and eggs, and he said they were the best he ever had! I got the strawberry chicken salad, and it was fantastic! Definitely a BIG salad!
